Multipurpose 6061 Aluminum Sheets and Bars
The most widely used aluminum, 6061 is fabricated into everything from pipe fittings and containers to automotive and aerospace parts. It is strong and corrosion resistant, plus it's easy to machine and weld.
Extruded sheets and bars are formed by a die for close-tolerance widths, then cut to the lengths listed.
Aluminum that meets ASTM B209 or ASTM B221 complies with standards for materials.
Aluminum that meets an SAE AMS standard conforms to the material and process needs of the aerospace industry.

Corrosion-Resistant 3000 Series Aluminum Honeycomb Cores
- Yield Strength: Not Rated
- Hardness: Not Rated
- Temper: Not Rated
The honeycomb design provides a higher strength-to-weight ratio than solid sheets. These cores are often used as a lightweight alternative to solid aluminum and also for sound insulation. 3000 series aluminum stands up to outdoor use, as well as exposure to chemicals. It offers a good combination of strength, formability, and weldability.

Easy-to-Machine MIC6 Cast Aluminum Sheets and Bars
- Yield Strength: 15,000 psi
- Hardness: Brinell 65 (Soft)
- Temper: Not Rated
- Fabrication: Cast
MIC6 is cast from a high-strength 7000-series aluminum, then stress relieved to maintain dimensional stability during high-speed machining. Use these sheets and bars for CNC routing tables, assembly jigs, vacuum chucks, and other applications where consistent flatness and tight tolerances are critical.

Easy-to-Machine Cast Aluminum for Tool and Jig Plates
Made of 5083 aluminum, these cast tool and jig plates are more corrosion resistant and respond better to anodizing than MIC6. This material is comparable to Alca 5 and ATP 5. Use for CNC routing tables, assembly jigs, vacuum chucks, and other applications where consistent flatness and tight tolerances are critical.

High-Strength 7075 Aluminum Sheets and Bars
Originally developed for aircraft frames, uses for 7075 aluminum now include keys, gears, and other high-stress parts. It is often used as a replacement for 2024 aluminum because it’s stronger and provides similar performance in all other aspects.
Hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and cast sheets are cut from large pieces to the widths and lengths listed, so the edges may not be parallel.
Cold-drawn bars are formed by a die for close-tolerance widths, then cut to the lengths listed.

- Yield Strength: 73,000 psi
- Hardness: Brinell 150 (Medium)
- Temper: T651
- Fabrication: Hot Rolled
- Specifications Met: ASTM B209, SAE AMS-QQ-A-250/12
Choose between sheets and bars that are precision ground on all six sides or just on the top and bottom. Originally developed for aircraft frames, uses for 7075 aluminum now include keys, gears, and other high-stress parts. It is often used as a replacement for 2024 aluminum because it’s stronger and provides similar performance in all other aspects.
Sheets and bars that are precision ground on all sides are consistently flat, square, and parallel on all six sides. They’re also known as blanks and are ready for use in your CNC machine.

High-Strength 2024 Aluminum Sheets and Bars
While 2024 aluminum was initially designed for structural components in aircraft, it's now widely used when a high strength-to-weight ratio is needed, such as for gears, shafts, and fasteners. It offers similar performance to 7075 aluminum, but it’s not as strong.
Cold-rolled sheets are cut from large pieces to the widths and lengths listed, so the edges may not be parallel.
Cold-drawn bars are formed by a die for close-tolerance widths, then cut to the lengths listed.

Fatigue-Resistant 7050 Aluminum
- Yield Strength: 68,000 psi
- Hardness: Not Rated
- Temper: T7451
- Fabrication: Cold Rolled
- Specifications Met: ASTM B594, SAE AMS4050
Substitute 7050 aluminum for 7075 in structural applications when high stress-corrosion resistance is required. It is the same material that's used for bulkheads and fuselage frames. These sheets are ultrasonically inspected (USI) for defects below the surface as per ASTM B594.
