Shield, insulate, and make quick repairs—aluminum foil is a jack-of-all-trades. Wrap it around pipe to hold in heat and keep out moisture, or around wire to block electromagnetic interference. To patch damaged insulation, tape it over tears and holes. You can also use it to cover surfaces while painting and processing.
Hardened—Stronger than annealed foil, this foil resists bending and denting from daily wear and tear. Use it to seal duct seams, cut custom gaskets, and create shims.
