Cut-Protection Sleeves
Use these sleeves alone or with gloves to protect your arms when handling sharp objects. They meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for various forms of protection, such as cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance.
All have an ANSI cut rating, which reflects the amount of force needed to cut through them with a razor blade. Choose A5 when using cutting blades, knives, and sharp wire. A7 are ideal when working with sharp metal stamps and presses, as well as food-processing knives. Use A9 when handling spikes and bulky objects with sharp edges.
Polyester/nylon/spandex sleeves are thick and durable, so they’re often used for glass manufacturing. They are highly resistant to cuts and abrasion, and they also prevent punctures. Clip them to your sleeve to keep them in place.
Sleeves that meet EN 388 adhere to European standards for abrasion, tear, cut, and puncture resistance.
