Metal Scoops

More durable and easier to clean than plastic scoops, these metal scoops can be used to move, measure, or dispense bulk materials.
Round-bottom scoops minimize corners and seams where contents can get stuck. Their design lets you pour contents smoothly. Flat-bottom scoops can rest flat on a surface, so they can be used as weigh boats to measure samples.
Aluminum scoops are lightweight, but less durable than galvanized or stainless steel. They resist corrosion in wet environments. Galvanized steel scoops have a zinc coating to protect from corrosion, but it can wear off over time. They're commonly used as feed scoops. Stainless steel scoops are more corrosion resistant than aluminum or galvanized steel. They will stand up to frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers.
Scoops with stabilizing feet sit flat on a surface, allowing them to be used as a weighboat.
Scoops with an extra-high rim are cylindrical and higher near the handle to prevent material from falling onto your hand when tilted upright.

Sanitary Metal Scoops

These scoops have welded seams, rounded interiors, and polished surfaces to prevent bacterial growth and reduce foodborne illness. Use them to move, measure, or dispense bulk materials in sanitary environments, such as food processing and pharmaceutical plants. They meet NSF/ANSI 2, so they comply with strict sanitary design requirements for food equipment.
Round bottom scoops are the easiest to pour with, since contents slide to a narrow exit point.
Flat bottom scoops are the best for scooping materials from flat surfaces. They can also rest flat on a surface, so they can be used as weigh boats.
Styles B-F are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel and won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers. 316 stainless steel scoops are the most corrosion resistant. Style B are cylindrical with a high rim near the handle to prevent material from falling onto your hand when tilted upright. Style D have an ergonomic handle that keeps hands comfortable and clean while scooping for extended periods of time. Style E have an extra-long handle that is nearly 2 ft. long. It is ideal for scooping from a distance, such as into large or deep containers.

Nonsparking Metal Scoops

Made of materials that are Factory Mutual approved, these scoops inhibit sparking and are nonmagnetic and corrosion resistant. They satisfy OSHA requirements that specify nonsparking tools for locations where flammable vapors and combustible residues are present.
Warning: Do not use these tools in direct contact with acetylene.
Food Industry Shovels

Scoop and lift materials in your food-processing facility. Designed for use in a sanitary environment, these shovels are easy to clean and won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners.
Stainless steel shovels are highly polished and have smooth, continuously welded seams, so bacteria has nowhere to hide. They also have a closed-back design, which prevents debris from collecting on the back of the blade.
Sifting Shovels

Not only does this shovel sift debris from sand and gravel, its mesh openings drain excess water when shoveling wet dirt.
