    Directly attach accessories and securely mount power-transmission components. These shafts have threaded ends to connect fan blades, mixer propellers, and other accessories with a fastener. The flat length mates with D-shaped bores and gives set screws an even surface to dig into, so gears, bearings, and sprockets won’t slip as the shaft rotates. Turned, ground, and polished, these shafts reduce vibration, evenly distribute loads, and improve accuracy.
