When measuring head circumference, measure just above your ear, where the hat will rest. If you are between sizes, order one size up.
Caps have a brim to shade your eyes from sun and glare. They also have a built-in sweatband.

Cut-Protection Hats
Stop sharp edges, wire, and screws from scratching your head—these hats shield you from low-hanging hazards. They have a layer of tiny protective plates on top of a layer of polyester for a strong, durable guard against gashes and scrapes. On a scale of A1 to A9 where a higher rating means more protection, these are rated ANSI level A7. They protect against sharp materials such as metal, glass, and wood.
Hats with a 1” long brim won’t block as much of your view since they have a shorter brim than standard hats. They’re similar to shop beanies.
Insect-Repellent Hats
Keep bugs out of your face and sun out of your eyes. These hats are coated in permethrin, which causes mosquitoes, ticks, and other bugs to go haywire before they can bite you. They’re made of breathable, washable cotton. Product regulations restrict sales to the listed areas.
Cap brim hats have an adjustable clasp on the back strap for a secure fit.

Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Hats
Protect your head from flames and arc flashes while keeping sweat and sun out of your eyes. These hats meet NFPA 70E standards for arc flash protection. They’re rated PPE category 2, which is the most common arc flash standard for industrial applications. Made of a cotton/nylon blend, these hats resist flames and withstand wear. They’re also breathable to keep you cool in hot environments. Adjust the hook-and-loop strap on the back to secure them on your head.
Check the PPE category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace, and select all required clothing and personal protective equipment to meet that rating. Arc rating measures a garment’s ability to insulate the wearer from burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance.

Hat-Style Bump Caps
Combine style and safety with these caps. Inside each cap is a protective insert for added defense against minor bumps and scrapes. If the insert cracks or you require a different style, such as one to fit over long hair, we offer replacement inserts.
Baseball caps are sportier than standard bump caps. Caps with a short brim won’t block your view and allow you to work in tight spaces. Some baseball caps cannot be sold to the listed areas due to PFAS chemical regulations.
Caps with a ratchet adjustment have a knob that tightens in small increments for a secure and comfortable fit.
Vented caps increase air circulation to keep you cool.
Caps that meet EN 812 adhere to European standards for protection against hard, stationary objects. Caps that meet ISO 14116 have been treated to resist flames.

Bump Caps with Lights
Ditch the flashlight and bulky headlamp—these bump caps have LEDs under their brim to light your way. Often used in crawlspaces and in other tight spots, these bump caps have a rigid frame that protects your head from bumps and scrapes. To keep you comfortable, these caps have foam padding and cooling vents. Turn them on or off with the push of a button.
