Hard Wear-Resistant 52100 Alloy Steel Balls

- Yield Strength: 295,000 psi
- Hardness: Rockwell C60 (Very Hard)
- Fabrication: Cold Worked
- Specifications Met: See table
High carbon and chromium content makes this 52100 alloy steel extremely hard and resistant to wear. It’s also known as chrome steel. Often used as bearings, these balls are hardened for increased abrasion and impact resistance.
Certificates with a traceable lot number are available for these products. Download certificates from ORDER HISTORY after your order ships.

Abrasion-Resistant Polyurethane Rubber Balls
Use these polyurethane balls as seals in pumps and check valves or let them bounce inside of vibrating sifters for an effective screen cleaner. They are made of polyurethane, which combines the shock absorbing qualities of rubber with the strength of plastic.

Flange-Mount Ball Transfers

Stainless steel balls offer the most corrosion resistance. They don’t need to be lubricated. Nylon balls are nonmarking.
Capacity is given for the ball up orientation. Using these ball transfers in a ball down or angled orientation could reduce the capacity stated.

Floats for Threaded Rods

Connect these floats to threaded float rods (not included). Use them to replace an existing float or combine with rods and float valve bodies (not included) to build a float valve.
Polypropylene floats are lightweight and meet NSF/ANSI 61 standards for safe use with drinking water.
Cylindrical and rectangular floats are all self-tapping except those with a 4” diameter, which have a threaded hose connection.
