What's the best way to determine the clamp size you'll need? Simply measure the outside diameter of your hose with the fitting installed. Some clamps accommodate a range of sizes, so be sure the size you need falls in the middle of that range.

Low-Profile Band Clamps for Firm Hose
Easier to install than our Extra-Strength Low-Profile Band Clamps, these clamps seal with a quick hammer blow to the buckle. They are also known as center-punch clamps.
Unlike worm-drive clamps and bolt clamps, these have a low profile with no protruding parts to get in your way during installation. The banding is double wrapped for extra strength. Use them to secure firm plastic and rubber hose, coaxial cable, and rope. Clamps require an installation tool (sold separately).
Galvanized steel clamps offer fair corrosion resistance.
201 and 300 series stainless steel clamps have very good corrosion resistance.

Extra-Strength Low-Profile Band Clamps for Firm Hose
The end of the band curls back into the buckle—this gives these clamps up to 25% more strength than other low-profile clamps. They are also known as JS-style clamps. Unlike worm-drive clamps and bolt clamps, these have a low profile with no protruding parts. A smooth interior prevents damage to the hose. Clamps are for firm plastic and rubber hose. They require an installation tool (sold separately).
Galvanized steel offers fair corrosion resistance.
201 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance.
316 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance.

Banding for Build-Your-Own Low-Profile Band Clamps for Firm Hose
Keep this banding on hand for both permanent connections and emergency repairs. You'll need an installation tool and a buckle (both sold separately) to create a band clamp. Banding comes in a dispenser carton. It has smooth, rounded edges to protect your hose from cuts.
Galvanized steel banding has fair corrosion resistance.
201 stainless steel banding has good corrosion resistance.
304 stainless steel banding has very good corrosion resistance.
316 stainless steel banding has excellent corrosion resistance.
Black polyester-coated 201 stainless steel banding has excellent abrasion and UV resistance.
Note: The breaking strength listed is the maximum tension that can be applied to the banding. For an extra-strong clamp, wrap the banding around twice, threading it through the buckle each time.

General Purpose Bolt Clamps for Firm Hose
One clamp fits a wide range of diameters, so you can always have the right size on hand. Clamps are for firm plastic and rubber hose. Do not exceed the maximum torque or clamps may be damaged.
Smooth Band—Clamps lock with a screw on the banding.
Slotted Band—Clamps lock with a screw on the banding and a notch in the slot.
Galvanized steel and zinc-plated steel have fair corrosion resistance.
301 and 305 stainless steel have very good corrosion resistance.

Build-Your-Own Worm-Drive Clamps for Firm Hose and Tube
Here's everything you need to make your own 3" diameter and larger custom-length worm-drive clamps. Cut a length of band from the continuous roll and attach a housing and a screw. Use a band splicer to attach two lengths of band for an even larger clamp. Clamps are not recommended for soft hose and tube, such as silicone. Do not exceed the maximum torque or clamps may be damaged.
410 stainless steel offers good corrosion resistance.
301 stainless steel offers very good corrosion resistance.

High-Temperature Build-Your-Own Worm-Drive Clamps for Soft Hose and Tube
Use this banding to create 4" diameter and larger worm-drive clamps for high-temperature applications. It has ridges on one side for the housing to ride upon—this leaves the reverse side smooth with no sharp edges to worry about.
This banding is best for soft hose and tube but also works with firm hose and tube. It can also be used to clamp pipe, attach signs, and connect tubing. It is furnished in a dispenser carton. To install, cut the banding to your desired length with wire snips, feed it through the housing (sold separately), and tighten the screw with a slotted screwdriver or hex nutdriver.
Note: The breaking strength listed is the maximum tension that can be applied to the banding.
