Improve accuracy, increase stability, and reduce noise while cutting with a band saw—the teeth on these blades vary in size, number per inch, and pattern to reduce vibration. They’re bimetal blades, which means they have a carbon steel body and high-speed steel teeth that last up to four times longer than carbon steel teeth. The teeth are sharp enough to bite through wood, metal, and plastic—from bars to pipes to structural framing. Thin and flexible, these blades cut both complex curves and long, straight lines.
When choosing a blade, consider the number of teeth. The more teeth per inch, the smoother the finish; the fewer teeth per inch, the faster and rougher the cut. All have a welded seam and are ready to install between the wheels on your band saw.

Band Saw Blades for Case-Hardened Metal

Slice through metal that’s hardened on the surface, such as linear motion shafts. The tips of the teeth on these blades tilt backward, so you can cut titanium, Inconel nickel, and other very hard metal too—they cut metals as hard as Rockwell C60. Also known as variable-set blades, their teeth vary in size, number per inch, and pattern to reduce vibration for a quiet, accurate cut. The blades are rigid, so they work best to make straight cuts. All have a welded seam and are ready to install on your band saw.

Tipped in carbide, the teeth on these blades are the hardest in our band saw blade offering. They cut through hard metals, such as titanium and nickel, and still stay sharp longer than other blades. Since they slice through material rather than grinding it away, they cut faster than blades with carbide grit. Thin and flexible, these blades create straight lines, curves, and complex shapes with a smooth, burr-free finish. All have a welded seam and are ready to install on your saw. Tooth size and number per inch are constant throughout the blade.

With carbide-tipped teeth—the hardest in our band saw blade offering—these blades stay sharp longer and cut harder metals than bimetal blades. They cut faster than blades with carbide grit because they slice through material rather than grinding it away. Their cuts leave a smooth, burr-free finish. Also known as variable-set blades, the teeth vary in size, number per inch, and pattern to limit vibration and keep your cuts stable and accurate. The tooth pattern also reduces noise while cutting. Narrow and flexible, they cut straight lines, curves, and complex shapes. All have a welded seam and are ready to install on your saw. Choose more teeth per inch for a smooth cut; choose fewer teeth per inch for fast, rough cutting.
