Also known as chrome-moly steel, these 4130 alloy steel round tubes have low carbon content for good weldability. They’re often used for roll cages and frames. To increase their wear resistance, you can harden them with heat treating. These tubes have been manufactured to SAE and military standards for quality and performance.
