High-Load Dry-Running Sleeve Bearings

Bearings with 17-4
PH Stainless Steel Shell
A metal shell adds strength.
PTFE bearings with 17-4 PH stainless steel shell are for use in oscillating rotation and have the highest load capacity of any sleeve bearing we offer. They handle shock loads and are chemical resistant.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.

Ball Joint Rod End Reducers

Decrease the ID of your rod end to allow approximately 60° of misalignment. Reducers attach to your rod end to move your fastener away from the rod-end body.

Corrosion-Resistant Fully Threaded Rod End Bolts

These rod end bolts are good for wet and corrosive environments—for maximum mounting flexibility, cut the fully threaded shaft to whatever length you need. Also known as swing bolts and eyebolts, rod end bolts have no moving parts. They're designed to make pivoting or hinge movements in applications that don't need to compensate for misalignment.
17-4 PH stainless steel rod end bolts have the most tensile strength—a similar amount to high-strength alloy steel. They also won’t rust in humid, wet, and washdown environments. Even at high temperatures, they maintain their excellent strength and corrosion resistance, so they’re often used in automotive drive trains and heat exchangers. However, they’ll rust when exposed to salt water and chemicals.
ASTM rod end bolts meet a standard for material.

Metric Fast-Travel Ultra-Precision Lead Screws and Nuts
Multiple thread channels (also known as thread starts) create faster linear travel than lead screws with a single thread start. Operating with less backlash (play) than Metric Precision Acme Lead Screws and Nuts, these lead screws and nuts provide increased nut life and more reliable movement in automated systems. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size, thread pitch, and number of thread starts.
Lead screws with one machinable end let you create your own custom connection to suit your application.
Lead screws with one coupling end connect directly with your shaft without extra machining. Torque down the locknut once inserted.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a nut moves with one revolution of the lead screw.

Metric Ultra-Precision Lead Screws and Nuts

Operating with less backlash (play) than Metric Precision Acme Lead Screws and Nuts, these provide increased nut life and more reliable movement in automated systems. Also known as single-start and self-locking lead screws and nuts, they have a single thread that runs the length of the screw. The nut travels only when the screw turns, so your system won't unexpectedly move when the lead screw is at rest. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size, thread type, thread size, thread pitch, and number of thread starts.
Lead screws with one machinable end let you create your own custom connection to suit your application.
Lead screws with one coupling end connect directly with your shaft without extra machining. Torque down the locknut once inserted.

Fast-Travel Corrosion-Resistant Ball Screws and Nuts

Multiple thread channels (also known as thread starts) create faster linear travel than ball screws with a single thread start. Suitable for use in harsh environments, these ball screws and nuts are made of stainless steel. Internal ball bearings provide smooth low-friction travel in applications that require high speeds, accurate positioning, and repeatable movement. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size. Ball nuts are furnished with a tube to keep ball bearings in place. Do not remove the tube until you are ready to install the nuts onto the screws.
Travel distance per turn, also known as screw lead, is the distance a ball nut moves with one revolution of the ball screw.

Root diameter indicates the diameter the ball screw will be after machining away the threads.

Internal ball bearings provide smooth low-friction travel in applications that require high speeds, accurate positioning, and repeatable movement. Also known as single-start ball screws and nuts, they have a single thread that runs the length of the screw. They operate with more torque than fast-travel ball screws and nuts. Quick-Grip Flanged Hydraulic Bushings

Tighten just one set screw to clamp these bushings evenly around your shaft. The screw forces hydraulic fluid in between the double-walled sleeve, expanding the two walls against the shaft and the hub of your sprocket, pulley, or gear for a tight hold. Since you don’t have to tighten multiple screw clamps individually, these bushings are quick to adjust and more likely to stay aligned on your shaft. They’re also good for shock loads. A mounting flange prevents movement during tightening. Use a hex key to tighten.
Note: To avoid deforming the sleeve walls, make sure to fully tighten the screw.
Stainless steel bushings have excellent corrosion resistance in most environments.
