    Bearings

    Washers

Small but mighty, our thinnest rolling thrust bearings slot into tight spaces and spin at whirring speeds. Their long, slender rollers support thrust loads and reduce friction in everything from machine tool spindles to gearboxes.
A cage holds the rollers in place. You can install these bearings without washers between hardened, ground surfaces for the thinnest profile. If you’re working with unhardened, unground surfaces, you’ll need two washers for the rollers to run on. This three-piece design is easy to lubricate, but the oil will attract dust and grime since it’s exposed.
Steel—Strong and wear resistant. However, these bearings are best for dry environments since moisture will cause them to rust.

    One-Piece Thrust Ball Bearings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Thrust Bearings. One-Piece Thrust Ball Bearings.
No need to assemble cages and washers—these thrust ball bearings come as one piece for easy installation. The balls spin inside a raceway instead of a cage, so there's room for more balls to support higher loads than three-piece bearings. An outer band holds the balls inside the raceway, keeping lubricant in and dirt out.

    Conical Inserts

Without changing the ID, these inserts handle some misalignment on rod ends. They attach to your rod end to move your fastener away from the rod-end body.
Washer Inserts—Washer inserts also protect rod ends. They’re commonly known as retaining safety washers.
Conical Inserts—Conical inserts help position rod ends between receiving forks, straps, and clevises.
303 Stainless Steel—303 stainless steel inserts won’t rust in wet, humid, and washdown environments.

    Tight-Clearance Thrust Ball Bearings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Thrust Bearings. Tight-Clearance Thrust Ball Bearings.
Save space around your shaft—set the end of your shaft vertically on top of these bearings instead of inserting it through. They work similar to miniature turntables, so you can even use them to precisely rotate equipment. Fastened by a center rivet, these bearings don’t require you to assemble cages and washers like three-piece designs. They have thick washers, deeply grooved raceways, and oversized balls to support higher loads than bearings of the same size. The balls are exposed, which makes them easy to lubricate, but the oil may attract dust and grime.

Adjust the diameter of your shaft or rod by nesting these tubes inside each other. They're also known as precision shim stock. You can be confident in their precision since they're held to a tight diameter tolerance. They also come hardened for extra wear and abrasion resistance.
With even more carbon than 440A, 440C stainless steel is one of the hardest types of stainless steel. It maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures as hot as 800° F.
