A flexible tire on these couplings safeguards components on your shafts by reducing vibration and shock.
A complete coupling consists of two hubs, one tire, and two quick-disconnect bushings.
Quick-disconnect bushings are easy to install and remove. Tighten their cap screws to secure them to your shafts. For information on quick-disconnect bushing styles, see Quick-Disconnect (QD) Bushings.

Highly Wear-Resistant Machinable Cast Nylon Round Tubes

The addition of MDS gives these tubes exceptional wear resistance along with a self-lubricating surface. They're made of cast nylon 6, making them easier to machine and better electrical insulators than other MDS-filled nylon tubes. Tubes can be used to fabricate pulleys, bushings, and bearings installed in hard-to-reach areas where adding a lubricant would be difficult. This material is comparable to Nylatron and Nycast.
Oversized Tolerance—Oversized tubes have an oversized OD and an undersized ID for finishing to the sizes listed.
