Low-Pressure Threaded Flow-Adjustment Valves

- Valve Type: Globe
- For Use With: Water
- Specifications Met: See table
Use these valves for boiler maintenance and other low-pressure plumbing applications. They gradually open and close with multiple turns of the wheel handle to adjust and regulate flow. All have a rising stem that lifts as the valve opens and lowers as the valve closes to provide a visual indication of whether flow is on or off.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Threaded Gradual On/Off Valves for Boiler Blow-Off
Prevent boiler scale deposits and sediment buildup with these valves that meet ASME standards for boiler drainage applications. Also known as gate valves, they gradually open and close to prevent system damage from suddenly starting or stopping flow.
Valves with a wheel handle open and close with multiple turns, providing more controlled, shock-resistant flow than valves with a lever handle. Valves with a lever handle open and close faster than valves with a wheel handle.
Valves with a nonrising stem fit well in low-clearance places since the handle doesn’t move up when the valve opens.
Cast iron valves absorb vibration, reducing noise from your industrial boiler. Steel valves resist corroding from the dirt and particles that come out of industrial boilers better than cast iron valves.
Use repair kits to replace worn-out seals.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Threaded On/Off Valves for Drinking Water
For use in drinking water systems, these valves meet NSF/ANSI Standard 61. All are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
Bronze valves are stronger and more durable than brass valves for longer service life.
Lever handles offer more leverage than T-handles. They’re easy to turn and show the valve’s position.T-handles resist accidental movement when snagged or bumped. Insulated T-handles prevent condensation and heat transfer to keep the valve handle dry and cool. They include red and blue caps that can be pressed into the handle to show if the line is hot or cold.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Solder-Connect On/Off Valves with Gauge Port and Strainer

- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Oil, Water
- Seal Material: PTFE Plastic
- Specifications Met: ASME B16.22
Monitor and maintain flow quality from a single valve. These valves have gauge ports, a strainer, and a drain built in. Gauge ports let you take pressure, temperature, and other measurements in your line. A strainer traps debris to keep it out of your system, and a drain lets you release fluid and debris. These valves are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
Thanks to their solder-connect union fitting, these valves are especially useful in lines that require frequent maintenance and cleaning. Slide the union nut on the tube and solder the solder-connect fittings to your line for a permanent, leak-tight connection. You can then connect and disconnect the line with a turn of the union fitting.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Threaded On/Off Valves with Gauge Port and Strainer

- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Oil, Water
- Seal Material: PTFE Plastic
Monitor and maintain flow quality from a single valve—these valves have a gauge port, strainer, and drain built in. A gauge port gives you a spot to add a gauge to monitor pressure without stopping flow. The strainer traps debris to prevent blockages, while the drain releases excess liquid and debris. They’re a good choice for lines that require frequent maintenance or cleaning. A threaded union makes these valves easy to install and remove without disrupting your line. They thread together or apart with only a turn to the union fitting, unlike other threaded on/off valves that require repositioning your pipe or valve. The union fitting slides over your pipe, and the threaded fitting sits inside. These valves are full port, so they do not restrict flow.

ASME-Code Fast-Acting Pressure-Relief Valves for Steam

- For Use With: Steam
- Temperature Range: -60° to 400° F
These valves meet ASME Code Section I for use with steam power boilers requiring pressure relief above 15 psi. They spring fully open at the set pressure and remain open until the system pressure is restored below the set pressure. For remote discharge, attach a drain line to the threaded relief port. Valves have a durable bronze body for a long service life.
EPR rubber seals provide better leak protection than brass seals.
Swivel test levers rotate 360° around the valve for use in areas with limited clearance.
