Brady M6/M7 Label Printer Tape

Create labels with your Brady M6 or M7 printer. Pair this tape with a printer ink ribbon in the same series as your printer.

Continuous Tape for M6 and M7 Series Printers

To use tape for M6 and M7 series printers in an M7 printer, you’ll also need a tape adapter.

Reflective—Reflective tape is embedded with tiny glass beads, so the labels are easy to spot in low light.

Paper—Paper tape dissolves completely in water, including the adhesive, so you can wash your labels off. Use it on items that are frequently cleaned and relabeled, such as test tubes or food service containers.

Vinyl Plastic—Vinyl tape is UV resistant, so you can use it outdoors.

Polyester Plastic—Polyester tape holds up the best to dirt, oil, and cleaning.

Aggressive Adhesion—Aggressive adhesive sticks to nearly any surface, including concrete and other porous materials. It holds up in oily, dirty, or damp areas, and it stays put even with heavy use or regular cleaning. However, it’s more difficult to remove from surfaces than standard adhesives.

Polyester Plastic—Polyester tape holds up the best to dirt, oil, and cleaning.

Low Outgassing—Low-outgassing adhesive produces almost no volatile emissions, even in high-vacuum settings. It meets ASTM E595, which is a standard developed by NASA for products used in highly controlled environments. Tape with this adhesive must be paired with M7-R6000 ink ribbons to maintain the standard.

Pre-Cut Heat-Shrink Tubing

Slide heat-shrink tubing tape over the cut end of a wire or cable, then apply heat for a snug fit.

For M7 Series Printers—Tape for M6 and M7 printers requires a compatible printer ink ribbon.

Flame Retardant—Flame-retardant tape meets BS and EN standards for preventing the spread of flames and toxic gas. It also meets ASTM E662 standards for low smoke output.

Tag tape hangs off your wire or cable like a flag, so it’s easy to spot the message. It has more room for text than wrap tape.

For M7 Series Printers—Tape for M6 and M7 printers requires a compatible printer ink ribbon.

Tapered Rectangle—Tapered tags have a narrow end, so you don’t have to carefully line up the edges. They’re easier to apply than rectangular tags—just wrap the tag around the wire or cable and press the ends together.

Rectangle—Rectangular tags can display a message on both sides. Wrap the narrow strip at the end around your wire or cable, then fold the two halves of the tag together.

Brady Label Printer Tape with Header

Each label on this tape has a colored header that helps you identify items at a glance. Run it through a Brady M6 or M7 series printer to add your message. Made of plastic, this tape resists chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol or diesel fuel. The aggressive adhesive sticks to smooth surfaces better than standard adhesives. It stays put in oily, dirty, or damp areas, and holds up to periodic cleanings. However, it’s difficult to remove from surfaces.

This tape must be used with a compatible printer ink ribbon. If you’re using an M7 printer, you’ll also need a tape adapter.

Brady Ultra-Low-Temperature Label Printer Tape

Create labels that withstand the coldest temperatures using your Brady M-series printer. Often used in labs, this printer tape also holds up to direct contact with liquid nitrogen and isopropyl alcohol. The aggressive adhesive sticks to smooth surfaces better than standard adhesives. It stays put in oily, dirty, or damp areas, and holds up to periodic cleanings. However, it’s difficult to remove from surfaces.

For Brady M6 and M7 Series Printers

Tape for M6 and M7 printers requires a compatible printer ink ribbon. To use this tape in an M7 printer, you’ll also need a tape adapter.

Clear Flap—Tape with a clear flap protects your message from moisture and prevents smudging. Smooth the flap over the label.

Zero Halogen—Zero halogen tape is free of chlorides and other halogens, so it’s safe to use on metals that can crack under stress, such as stainless steel and titanium. Use only the listed ribbons to ensure your labels are free of halogens.

Brady Washdown Label Printer Tape

Often used in plants that produce food or pharmaceuticals, this tape will retain your message even with regular power washing. Run it through your Brady M7-series printer to create custom labels. The aggressive adhesive will stick to rough, oily, dirty, or damp surfaces, and it won’t dissolve during cleaning. However, it’s more difficult to remove from surfaces than standard adhesives. Pair this tape with a compatible printer ink ribbon (sold separately).

Metal Detectable—Metal-detectable tape has a metal additive that sets off metal detectors if any part of a label falls into your line.
