Breakaway Hose Couplings for Chemicals and Petroleum
Minimize chemical and petroleum spills during accidental disconnects, such as a driver pulling away during loading. These couplings have a shut-off valve on each half to stop flow when they’re separated. Attach one end to your hose and the other to a supply pipe or a second hose.
Aluminum couplings are lightweight and have good corrosion resistance.
316 stainless steel couplings have excellent corrosion resistance.
3/4 NPT and 3/4 BSPP couplings can be reconnected without replacement parts.
1 NPT couplings cannot be reconnected.
2 NPT and 3 NPT couplings have bolts designed to break before your hose does. They can be repaired with replacement bolt kits and replacement seal kits (both sold separately).

Breakaway Hose Couplings for Diesel Exhaust Fluid
Minimize spills if a driver pulls away from your diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) pump too soon. Both halves of these couplings have a shut-off valve that stops the flow if they’re separated. Even if they’re snapped apart, you can reconnect them without needing replacement parts.
Apply thread sealant to NPT threads to prevent contamination.

Breakaway Magnetic Connectors
When cable gets yanked by mistake, these connectors separate before anything breaks. They’re often used to connect cable to equipment in busy areas, such as near modular conveyors. They’re also used with sensors and other devices that require frequent changeouts or maintenance. When reconnected, the magnets snap plugs and sockets together in the correct alignment every time. The magnet is strong enough to keep them joined even with some jostling. Use them with power, data, and sensor cables.
With a PTFE body and stainless steel housing, these connectors hold up to temperature swings. They also resist corrosion from chemicals. Rated NEMA 6 and IP67, they’re sealed against dust, washdowns, and even temporary submersion. A complete assembly includes a plug and socket—plugs mate with both sockets and panel-mount sockets.
Connectors with solder pin terminals let you use your own cable and make solder connections to up to six pins.
Connectors with plastic-insulated outer cable and wire leads come soldered and assembled. Wire leads allow you to connect to terminals or other cable. Choose plugs and sockets with FEP plastic-insulated wire leads for high-temperature environments, such as in commercial ovens.
