Through-wall valve bodies install through your tank wall. They’re good for tanks where there isn’t enough space overhead to route pipe.

Valve bodies with an NPT outlet thread onto pipe to direct water to a specific location. They’re often used to send water to the bottom of a tank, limiting splashing and disruptions at the surface level. Valve bodies with a discharge outlet release contents into your tank. The outlet is unthreaded.

Valve bodies with a Viton® fluoroelastomer rubber seal withstand higher temperatures than those with a Buna-N rubber seal.

Valve bodies with a rotating plunger minimize wear on the internal seal. When the valve opens and closes, the plunger rotates freely. This means the internal seal wears evenly, extending the life of the valve body. Valve bodies with a nonrotating plunger maintain a tight seal in turbulent water, such as in mixing tanks and tanks with boiling water. However, the seal wears faster than in valve bodies with a rotating plunger.

Valve bodies with a fluted plunger keep contaminants from getting trapped between the plunger and valve body. This gives your valve stem a seamless path to actuate, extending the life of your valve. They’re ideal for sandy or silty applications, such as in livestock tanks.
