Pads for Swing-Style Floor Buffer/Scrubbers

Use a pad to scrub, strip, or buff hard floors. Both sides are usable.

Black—Black pads are for aggressive wet stripping of finish and sealer.

Blue—Blue pads are for moderate wet scrubbing.

Brown—Brown pads are for wet or dry stripping.

Green—Green pads are used wet for heavy duty scrubbing to remove dirt and scuff marks.

Red—Red pads are used wet or dry to buff, restore shine, and remove scuff marks.

White—White pads are for polishing clean floors to a high-gloss finish. Use on dry or lightly misted floors.

Brushes for Swing-Style Floor Buffer/Scrubbers

More durable than pads, these brushes are a good choice if you have an uneven floor or grout lines.

The clutch plate is universal, so it attaches to most buffer/scrubbers. These brushes are not for use with larger machines. See Brushes for Powered Floor Sweeper/Cleaners.

Also Available: Brushes with other clutch plates, for other base diameters, and in different materials. Please ask for 7258T999 and specify machine make, model, base diameter, and brush material.

Steel Bristles—Steel bristles are for stripping and scrubbing concrete.

Natural Fiber Bristles—Natural fiber bristles are for heavy duty scrubbing.

Polypropylene Bristles—Polypropylene bristles are economical yet durable. They are good for general scrubbing.

Nylon Bristles—Nylon bristles are more flexible and longer lasting than polypropylene. Before using on carpet, break in brush by briefly running machine over a rough, dry surface. Brushes for 15” base diameter machines and larger have holes for use with solution tanks.

Silicon Carbide-Reinforced Nylon Bristles—Silicon-carbide-reinforced nylon bristles are very aggressive and strip finishes from tile and linoleum. They are excellent for heavy buildups.

Metal- and X-Ray-Detectable Scrub Brushes with Extended-Reach Handle

Clean hard-to-reach areas in pharmaceutical and food-processing plants—these scrub brushes have metal and chemical additives that set off metal detectors and show up on an X-ray if they fall into your line. Their brush block and handle grip are bright blue, so they’re easy to find and retrieve. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to make sure contaminated food doesn’t leave your plant. These scrub brushes are also FDA-compliant for direct contact with food.

The bristles are secured to these brushes with stainless steel staples to keep them from falling into the food. To prevent bacteria growth, the crevices around the staples are covered with epoxy resin, and the bristles themselves don’t retain moisture. Chemical and temperature resistant, the bristles, as well as the plastic handle grip, stand up to harsh sanitizers and cleaners.

Horsehair Bristles—Horsehair bristles are temperature resistant. However, they are not chemical resistant.
