They move the pad in an aggressive rotary motion, which removes defects faster than random-orbital polishers. They’re ideal for removing deep scratches and making heavy corrections to your surface. However, they may leave microscopic swirl marks.

Adjust speed without removing your hand from the tool—turn the dial with your thumb. Higher speeds remove heavier defects, and lower speeds reduce the risk of damage to delicate surfaces. Attach hook and loop buffing and polishing pads, or attach arbor-mount buffing and polishing pads directly to the threaded spindle.
