Lightweight Carbon Fiber Hard Hats

Lightweight yet strong and durable, carbon fiber hard hats protect your head and you can wear them all day. They resist heat better than HDPE hard hats, making them a good choice for foundries, refineries, and other environments with high ambient heat. These hard hats are rated Type I to protect against blows to the top of the head only. They're also designated as Class C, which means they're not tested for electrical protection. For a snug fit, turn a knob on the back of the helmet to tighten suspension. A sweatband prevents perspiration from getting into your eyes, and mounting slots allow for attachments like face shields and earmuffs.
Full brim hard hats protect your head and neck from sun, rain, glare, and splashes.
Hard hats with a foam shell have padding that absorbs impact to reduce force on the neck and head.

Cooling Hard Hats

Stay cool and protect your head—a reflective barrier in these hard hats lowers the temperature by 20 degrees. A full brim runs around the hat to shield your head and neck from sun, rain, and glare. It offers 12% more coverage than the brim on a standard full brim hat, providing additional protection from the elements. A built-in sweatband keeps perspiration out of your eyes, even if you sweat.
Type I hard hats protect against blows to the top of the head only. A foam shell absorbs impact, reducing force on the neck and head. To fit the hard hat snugly to your head, turn a knob on the back that tightens the suspension. The reversible suspension lets you turn the hat around without taking it off. For example, spin the hat to move a face shield out of the way or turn the hat to fit in a tight space. You can also add attachments such as face shields or earmuffs to the mounting slots on the hat.
Class C hard hats have not been tested for electrical protection. Class E hard hats insulate from electrical shocks and are often used near overhead power lines and high-voltage equipment. They’re tested at 20,000 volts.
Hard hats with ventilation holes add another way to stay cool by letting air circulate.

Hard Hats for Top and Side Impacts
Protect your head from more than just falling objects—these hard hats are rated ANSI/ISEA Z89.1, Type II to deflect both top and off-center blows to the head. A foam shell helps absorb impact to reduce force on the head and neck. Tighten a knob on the back of these hard hats for a snug and comfortable fit. To prevent perspiration from getting into your eyes, all have a sweatband. Use the mounting slots to attach accessories such as earmuffs (not included).
Class E hard hats insulate from electrical shocks and are often used near overhead power lines and high-voltage equipment. They’re tested at 20,000 volts AC. Class C hard hats have not been tested for electrical protection. These hats have ventilation holes to keep you cool.
Hard hats with a Koroyd Helmet Safety System have a layer of small tubes that crumple upon impact to lessen blunt force to your head. Koroyd weighs less than comparable helmet safety systems because it is 95% air. Built-in padding with high-purity silver eliminates odor and bacteria, while a comfort liner helps for all-day wear. For frequent headlamp users, these hard hats have built-in strap clips that keep your lamp securely in place. An integrated TwICEme chip with near-field communication (NFC) technology helps to save lives in an accident. The chip stores emergency contacts and health information and sends your precise location to help first responders. A low profile gives these hard hats a sleek look.
Hard hats with a chin strap stay securely on your head. They’re useful for windy conditions and working at heights. They’re also good for active movement such as climbing, working sideways, and working upside down. All chin straps have a magnetic lock, so they’re easy to connect and release with one hand.
Add a face shield (sold separately) that slides down over the full hat brim to guard your face. The toric shape of the shield closely follows the shape of your face to protect your chin and provide a wide peripheral field of vision. These shields meet ANSI Z87.1+ standards. Quickly replace the shield with the streamlined attachment system. Press-to-release slotted adapters make it easy to remove the brackets from the hard hat. Use a shade 5 welding face shield for optimal visibility and protection from harmful light and radiation.

Climbing-Style Hard Hats
With a low profile, these hard hats give close-fitting protection to your head in confined spaces. They don’t have a brim, so you can see what’s above you and avoid snagging on climbing gear. Chin straps hold these hard hats in place when working in strong wind, upside down, and sideways. For protection from more than just falling objects, these hard hats are rated ANSI/ISEA Z89.1, Type II to deflect both top and off-center blows to the head. Made of ABS plastic, they resist impacts better than standard hard hats. A foam shell reduces the force on the head and neck during impact by absorbing the force.
A sweatband keeps perspiration out of your eyes, and the padding has high-purity silver embedded in it to resist odor. To add a face shield, earmuffs, and other accessories, use the mounting slots on the sides.
Class C hard hats have not been tested for electrical protection. They have ventilation holes that increase air flow to keep you cool.
Class E hard hats insulate from electrical shocks and are often used near overhead power lines and high-voltage equipment. They’re tested at 20,000 volts.
Hard hats with MIPS (multi-directional impact protection system) provide more protection to your brain than standard climbing-style hard hats. A low-friction layer inside the helmet allows your head to shift slightly during an impact. This shift directs rotational force away from the brain, so it causes less damage. These hard hats also have clamps for headlamp straps.
Hard hats with brim grip can be securely grasped by the back while wearing gloves. These hard hats also have a magnetic clasp, so you can connect and release the straps with one hand.

Hard Hats with Clear Brim
Often used when operating a crane or climbing a ladder, these hard hats won’t block your view of what’s above you. With a see-through brim, they increase peripheral visibility by 50% compared to standard hard hats with a full brim. Clear in the front and opaque in the back, the brim wraps all the way around to keep rain off your head and sun off your neck. Swap in a gray visor (sold separately) for a shaded view in full-sun environments. A built-in sweatband keeps perspiration out of your eyes.
Rated Type I, these hard hats protect the top of your head from falling objects. They’re also rated Class E and have been tested at 20,000 volts for electrical insulation. It also fits over glasses. Since they don’t have brims, these hard hats won’t limit your field of vision or keep you from getting close to your task.
Hard hats are Type I, Class E, meaning they protect against blows to the top of the head only and are proof-tested at 20,000 volts. All have a ratchet suspension that adjusts with an easy-turn knob and mounting slots to attach earmuffs (not included).
Add a chin strap (sold separately) to your hard hat for a more secure fit when climbing, working upside down, or moving around.

Rescue Helmets

Often used in search and rescue operations, these helmets have rail mounts for night vision goggles, headsets, and other equipment. With devices secure and hands free, you can focus on your mission. Their polystyrene liner protects the neck and head by absorbing force during impact. To hold the helmet secure on your head, a ratchet in the back adjusts the fit. Chin straps keep the helmet in place when working upside down and in heavy wind. These helmets meet U.S. safety standards for military operations and European safety standards for whitewater sports and mountaineering, protecting your head in a variety of extreme environments.
To keep you cool under pressure, the helmets have ventilation holes and moisture-wicking padding. Snap the included vent covers on when you need to keep dust and debris out. They also have a sweatband to prevent perspiration from getting in your eyes.
Use a headlamp adapter (sold separately) to attach a light to the night vision goggle mount without needing to use tools. The adapter holds the lamp firmly to the helmet so it doesn't slide off during use.
Use headset adapters or headset and boom microphone adapters (both sold separately) to clip communication systems onto the helmet. Once the adapters are installed, you can take the communication systems on and off without tools. Headset adapters are compatible with helmet-mounted headsets. Headset and boom microphone adapters let you convert headsets with a headband or neckband to helmet mount. Once attached, the headset earpieces can be flipped up when you’re not using them so it’s easier to take the helmet off quickly. They also include a boom microphone adapter.
Add a visor (sold separately) to the helmet for eye protection. No need for tools—just snap it on. Once attached, you can lift the visor away from the face and lock it in the up position. A coating on the inside and outside resists scratching. These visors are rated EN 166:2002 Class 2B for clarity and impact resistance to protect from debris, water, and wind.

Arc-Flash-Protection Face Shields

Protect your face from low-level arc flashes when a full hood is not necessary. These shields meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against electrical arc flashes for personal protective equipment (PPE) category 2. Choose shields that meet the arc rated PPE category required by your workplace.
The shields meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 basic impact standards when worn with safety glasses or goggles. The lens on these shields flips up, so you can keep your hard hat on during breaks from electrical work. All hard hats have a ratchet suspension that adjusts with an easy-turn knob.
Shields with a green lens have a light tint that absorbs visible light and blocks glare. They let through 55% of visible light. While the green tint reduces glare, it also distorts colors, which may limit your ability to distinguish them.
