Pointed tapered cone burs are for tapered holes and slots with pointed bottoms.
Carbide—Best for removing material from a variety of metals. These burs are harder, stronger, and more wear resistant than high-speed steel.
Double-Cut Tooth—Double-cut tooth burs are for rapid metal removal with a coarser finish than single cut.
Single-Cut Tooth—Single-cut tooth burs are for gradual metal removal with a fine finish.
