Use it to wrap your items or even as a nonstick work surface. All of this paper is FDA compliant for direct contact with food. It is not, however, meant for use in ovens and microwaves, since it may smoke or catch fire.

Wax-coated paper, also known as wet wax paper, resists moisture. Use it to protect products and foods from grease, water, and oil. It’s also good for safeguarding products with finishes that aren't quite dry. You can even rub this paper on surfaces and tools to add a temporary slippery and moisture-resistant wax layer to them. This paper leaves a wax residue behind, which means it may transfer a wax flavor to foods.

Wax-embedded paper, also known as dry wax paper, won’t leave a wax residue behind on any surface. It’s especially good for foods, since it won’t transfer any residue that could change the flavor of your foods.
