Wire Rope Slings
Reinforced
Thimble Eye
These slings are more abrasion and cut resistant than web and round slings, yet lighter in weight than mesh and chain slings. They include a tag that shows capacities in each configuration.
Crimped eye slings are secured with a metal sleeve.
Crimped and reinforced thimble eye slings have a thimble on the inside of the loops to prevent fraying. Loops are secured with a metal sleeve.
Woven eye slings have ends that are woven back into the sling, reducing the chance of the sling catching when lifting a load.
6 × 19 construction is more flexible than 7 × 7.
Stainless steel slings are corrosion resistant.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Wire Rope Slings with Hooks
For use with loads that have lift attachments, these slings attach quickly and securely. They are more abrasion and cut resistant than web and round slings, yet lighter in weight than mesh and chain slings. They include a tag that shows capacities in each configuration.
Note: Do not use multi-leg slings at an angle less than 30°.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
