T-Handle Keyed Alike Cam Locks
The attached metal arm rotates to lock cabinet doors and file drawers. These locks are keyed alike, so they’re good for when you need several locks that open with the same key. The cam can be mounted to latch at a single point; for additional strength, position it to drive a bar or rod into as many as two additional latch points. It's the type of latch used with three-point locking systems on filing cabinet doors. You can install these locks with a round hole instead of the irregularly shaped standard cam hole. This is helpful if your panel is difficult to cut, or if it’s part of an existing structure.
Locks with an adjustable latching distance handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed distance.
