Tight-Hold Square-Drive Cam Locks for Pressurized Enclosures

Mount these two-piece locks on sealed pressurized enclosures to gradually release pressure and prevent your door from bursting open. A quarter turn partially opens the door and lets the pressure escape while the door is still latched. Another quarter turn fully opens the door. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. To lock, turn the head a quarter turn, then another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
These locks open with a square key (sold separately), so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery. They have a concealed design to stop others from tampering with them using pliers. Since these locks do not extend inside the enclosure when installed, you’ll have full use of the inside space.

Food Industry Tight-Hold Square-Drive Cam Locks

Designed for food-processing and hygienic applications, these locks are FDA compliant for direct contact with food. They have a smooth finish and round edges, so there are no crevices for contaminants to collect in. A seal helps keep high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns and dust from entering through the lock. This helps you maintain an IP69K rating on sealed enclosures that are often used in food processing plants. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration.
Made of stainless steel, these locks won’t break down in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture. All of the cams in the locks have a fixed latching distance. Since you won’t have to adjust the cams into position, these locks are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance. Locks with straight and offset cams include multiple cams, so you can change the fixed latching distance.
These locks open with a square key, so they're more secure than locks that open with a hex or slotted driver yet still match a common keying system for industrial enclosures and other machinery. However, they’re less secure than other square-drive locks with a concealed design because the square sticking out from the lock is easier to tamper with using pliers.

Tight-Hold Hex-Drive Cam Locks

Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than a traditional cam lock, making them useful for doors that have a seal. Turn the head a quarter turn to lock, then turn it another quarter turn to create compression and minimize rattling from vibration. Since they lock with a hex key, these locks are great if you want to secure an enclosure with a simple keying system.
Locks with a fixed latching distance are best when you know the precise distance you need. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these are faster to install than those with an adjustable latching distance. All include multiple cams, so you can change the fixed latching distance.
Locks with an adjustable latching distance handle a wide range of latching distances, so they’re best for tasks when precise distances are unknown. Adjust the position of the cam before you begin to install them. They project further into the enclosure than those with a fixed latching distance.
Stainless steel locks are more corrosion resistant than zinc and aluminum locks. They won’t rust in areas that are constantly exposed to moisture. Although less corrosion resistant than stainless steel, aluminum locks resist rusting better than zinc locks. They’re also the lightest in weight.
IP or NEMA rated locks have a gasket that helps keep low-pressure washdowns and dust from entering through the lock. This helps you maintain your sealed enclosure's IP or NEMA rating.

Tight-Hold Two-Way-Drive Cam Locks for Pressurized Enclosures
Mount these two-piece locks on sealed pressurized enclosures to gradually release and prevent your door from bursting open. Also known as compression cam locks, these locks create a tighter hold than traditional cam locks, making them useful for doors that have a seal. They don’t extend inside your enclosure, so you can use the full space for other equipment.
Open these locks with a two-way key (sold separately). Also called a double-bit key, it matches a keying system that’s common for industrial enclosures and other machinery but is more secure than a hex key or screwdriver. These locks also have a flat, concealed design that stops others from tampering with them using pliers. They come with one cam with a fixed latching distance. Since you won’t have to adjust the cam into position, these locks are quick to install.

Pry-Resistant Swing-Handle Keyed Alike Cam Locks

Stop burglars from breaking in with saws, screwdrivers, pliers, and other common tools—these locks meet RC2 security standards. Often installed on server cabinets and electrical panels, they have a handle that swings smoothly when you lift it to latch and unlatch the door. The handle lies flat when locked, which means it won’t snag anything passing by. These locks are keyed alike, so choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key.
Also known as quarter-turn locks, these locks have a cam that rotates 90° as you swing the handle. They come with multiple cams, so you can change their fixed latching distance. An O-ring stops dust and water from getting into your sealed enclosure through the lock. This helps you maintain the enclosure’s IP65 rating. For extra protection, they also have a shutter that guards the cylinder from water and dust.
