Style A spreaders produce continuous, paper-thin layers. Their round body collects excess material on the top of their blade. Made of stainless steel, they resist corrosion and withstand cleaners and chemicals. Sanitize or autoclave them.

Style B

Style B spreaders have a thin blade for moving and picking up material as small as a cell. The blade is made of flexible rubber, so you can use it like a squeegee to completely remove liquid from a surface. It can also pivot to get into hard-to-reach spots. These spreaders withstand chemicals and are individually bagged for sterility. They should be thrown away after use.
