Channel Strip Heaters | McMaster-Carr

To prevent moisture damage, these heating elements have a seamless 304 stainless steel sheath. They bolt or clamp onto flat metal parts to heat the surface through direct contact. All require a temperature switch or controller (not included) to regulate heat output.

All heating elements can be attached to surfaces with metal clamps, such as C-clamps. Space the clamps 3 to 5 inches apart to avoid air gaps that can cause hot spots and lead to premature failure.

Screw-Terminal Wire Connection—Heating elements with screw terminals can also be bolted to surfaces with mounting studs and nuts.

Also known as strip and disc heating elements, these bolt or clamp onto flat metal parts to heat the surface through direct contact. All require a temperature switch or controller (sold separately) to regulate heat output.

Strip heating elements should be bolted onto flat surfaces or attached with metal clamps, such as C-clamps (not included). Space clamps 3 to 5 inches apart to avoid air gaps that can cause hot spots and lead to premature failure.
