Access fasteners in tight spots by pivoting the head to an optimal angle. These nonratcheting wrench handles are also known as breaker bars—they’re long enough for you to get the leverage needed to break stuck fasteners free.
Black-Oxide Steel—Black-oxide wrench handles are easier to grip when dirty or wet because they’re not as smooth as chrome-plated wrench handles. To prevent rust, oil them periodically.
Chrome-Plated Steel—Chrome-plated wrench handles are shiny and corrosion resistant. Their surface is easier to clean than black-oxide wrench handles.
Rubber Grip—Rubber grips cushion the handle.
