Arc-Flash-Protection Face Shields
Protect your face from low-level arc flashes when a full hood is not necessary. These shields meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against electrical arc flashes for personal protective equipment (PPE) category 2. Choose shields that meet the arc rated PPE category required by your workplace.
The shields meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 basic impact standards when worn with safety glasses or goggles. The lens on these shields flips up, so you can keep your hard hat on during breaks from electrical work. All hard hats have a ratchet suspension that adjusts with an easy-turn knob.
Shields with a bronze or gray lens allow all wavelengths of visible light to pass through without distorting colors. They’re ideal for electrical workers who work with colored wires or electrical tape.
Shields with a chin guard protect your face from below. Those with side guards extend protection on the sides.

Face Shields
These face shields meet ANSI/ISEA impact standards when worn with safety glasses or goggles.
Ratchet adjustment has an easy-turn knob.
Polycarbonate lenses have greater impact resistance than acetate and PETG lenses.
PCTG plastic lenses are chemical resistant. They also have greater impact resistance than acetate and PETG lenses.
For added protection, choose face shields with a chin guard.

Heat-Reflective Face Shields
The coating on these face shields reflects radiant heat to keep your face cooler. Shields meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1+ high-impact standards when worn with safety glasses or goggles. They have a ratchet adjustment with an easy-turn knob.

Hard-Hat Mount Face Shields
Attach these shields to the brim of cap-style or full-brim hard hats (sold separately) to provide full-face protection. They meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 or Z87.1+ when worn with safety glasses or goggles.
Polycarbonate lenses have greater impact resistance than acetate lenses. Copolyester lenses have the greatest impact and fog resistance of all.
Nylon brackets are nonconductive. Gasketed nylon brackets provide a seal between the lens and your hard hat. Silver-anodized and gold-anodized aluminum brackets provide heat and corrosion resistance.
Face shields with a chin guard provide extra coverage without sacrificing visibility.

Hard-Hat Chin Straps
Hold your hard hat securely on your head with these chin straps. Clip them into the slots in your hard hat and adjust the strap length with a slider for a snug fit.
