Heavy Duty Electric Bench-Top Chop Saws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Chop Saws. Heavy Duty Electric Bench-Top Chop Saws.
Powered by a high-torque motor, these saws cut through thicker and harder materials than standard chop saws. They can also run continuously for longer, even when cutting hard materials like angle iron or tool steel. With a base made of either steel or cast iron, these saws are durable enough to hold up in foundries, metal fabrication plants, and other tough environments. Use with abrasive wheels (sold separately).

    Bench-Top Cold Saws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Cold Saws. Bench-Top Cold Saws.
Cut metal without overheating the blade or your workpiece. These saws use a slow-moving blade with specially designed teeth that transfer heat to the metal chips produced as they cut. Since they keep the blade and workpiece cool, they won’t warp, expand, or harden your material. This makes them great for precise cuts to structural components that need to fit together perfectly. For extra assurance that everything stays cool and to maximize blade life, they also have a built-in coolant system. The coolant keeps the cut area clear of metal chips, so they don’t stick to the blade.
Set them up at any workstation. Compared to standard cold saws, these are more portable, but less powerful.
Light Duty—Light duty saws are lighter in weight than heavy duty saws for easier transport around your facility. However, they’ll vibrate more. They’re best for intermittent use. Swap in a blade with more teeth for a smoother cut.
Heavy Duty—Heavy duty saws have a cast iron construction that limits vibration for smoother, more accurate cuts than light duty saws. That stability means each cut puts less stress on the saw, minimizing maintenance and wear. The vise secures and releases material quickly—unlike standard vises, its jaws open and close without multiple turns of the handle. To quickly stop the blade and prevent accidents, activate the emergency stop.
