    Electric Circular Saws for Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Circular Saws. Electric Circular Saws for Metal.
Make long, straight cuts into steel sheets, structural framing, and other metal components. These handheld saws are good for longer cuts than chop saws. At a low speed, they’ll cut without burrs or excessive heat—no coolant required. They’ll also produce fewer sparks than saws with abrasive wheels. To keep your workspace clean, all can either blow metal chips out of the way or collect them during cutting.
Evolution—Evolution saws have a high-torque motor that powers the blade more efficiently than our other saws. This makes them the best choice for cutting hard, thick metal.
Fein 6 99 08 120 00 1—Fein 6 99 08 120 00 1 saws have a high-torque motor that powers the blade more efficiently than our other saws. This makes them the best choice for cutting hard, thick metal.
Brake—Saws with a brake stop rotating soon after you release the trigger, so you can quickly reposition your workpiece and make the next cut.

Often used to create door frames and aluminum supports, these saws make precise angled cuts for tight-fitting joints. The head swivels to make miter cuts across the face of your material.
Style A—Style A saws have a tilting head that makes beveled cuts through the thickness of your material. Use these saws on wood and soft metals such as aluminum and copper.
Style B—Style B saws cut harder metals than Style A saws—and they do so without coolant or excessive heat, which can warp your workpiece. By running at slower speeds than all of our other miter saws, they handle steel, stainless steel, and other hard metals, as well as soft metals, such as aluminum. Compared to saws with abrasive wheels, they cut more quickly and create fewer sparks.

Use an abrasive wheel with these saws for general purpose cutting jobs. You can cut steel square structural tubing, aluminum conduit, and other hard materials.
Quick-Release Vise—Saws with a quick-release vise adjust easily—just flip a lever then slide the vise jaw open or closed. With a tool-free wheel change, you release the wheel by turning the clamp that holds it in place.
Cannot Be Sold Outside United States—Saws that cannot be sold outside the United States are restricted due to product regulations.

For cooler, cleaner cuts, these saws use a metal blade instead of an abrasive wheel. They slice through metal at low speeds, which means less dust, fewer sparks, and burr-free edges. Often used to cut steel pipe or strut channel down to size, they deliver precise, perpendicular cuts. The vise secures and releases material quickly—unlike standard vises, its jaws open and close without multiple turns of the handle.
Evolution—Evolution S15CPS saws have a brake that stops the blade when you release the trigger, so you can reposition your tool and move to your next cut. Swap out the blade to cut through plastic and wood. The chip collector captures metal shards and chips, keeping your workspace clean.

Heavy Duty Electric Floor Chop Saws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Chop Saws. Heavy Duty Electric Floor Chop Saws.
The motor in these saws puts out higher torque than standard floor chop saws, so they slice through angle iron, tool steel, and other thick, hard materials. They can also run continuously for longer than standard floor chop saws. With a strong base made from steel, these saws are designed to hold up in rugged environments like foundries and metal fabrication plants. They’re great for sawing through metal bars and pipes, cutting tool steel rods to length, and trimming down raw stock before milling it in a CNC machine. Use with abrasive wheels (not included). These saws must be hardwired.

    Cordless Bench-Top Chop Saws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Chop Saws. Cordless Bench-Top Chop Saws.
Make precise perpendicular cuts in metal and other hard materials from any bench top in your facility. Rechargeable batteries give you the same power as an electric chop saw, but without the hassle of needing access to an outlet. A brushless motor optimizes battery usage, so these saws run longer on a single charge. It also enhances longevity—they run cool and have few moving parts that require maintenance. Pair these saws with an abrasive wheel. They’re often used to cut steel square structural tubing and aluminum conduit.
Soon after you release the trigger, an electric brake stops the blade for quick repositioning to make repeated cuts. Equipped with a quick-release vise, these saws secure and release your workpiece quickly. The jaws of the vise operate without the need for multiple turns of the handle. Tool-free wheel changes let you switch out the cutoff wheel without using an L-key or wrench.
These saws require two 18V DC batteries. Batteries and chargers are not included.

    Bevel Cut

Set up anywhere in your facility to make angled cuts in material that's too wide for a standard miter saw—the arm on these saws slides for added reach. These saws cut with the same power as an electric miter saw but without needing an outlet nearby. A brushless motor optimizes battery life, so these saws run longer on a single charge. The motor also enhances longevity because it runs cool and has few moving parts that require maintenance.
Use them to create joints that require a tight fit, such as door frames and aluminum supports. Swivel the head for angled cuts across the face of your material and tilt the head for beveled cuts through the thickness of your material. To help you position your material for an accurate cut, a light casts a line of shadow where the blade will meet the workpiece.
Makita—Makita saws have a higher voltage than other saws, which helps them maintain speed while cutting thick and hard materials. They also give you more cuts per charge. An electric brake stops the blade when you release the trigger to let you reposition your workpiece and move to your next cut.
Bluetooth Connection—Milwaukee saws with Bluetooth connection link to a free downloadable app, Milwaukee One-Key. From your phone, you can track your tool, monitor usage, and get notifications for maintenance.
Batteries Included—Some saws include a rechargeable battery.
Batteries Not Included—For saws where the battery is not included, see Milwaukee batteries and chargers and Makita batteries and chargers.
