    Electric Circular Saws for Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Circular Saws. Electric Circular Saws for Metal.
Make long, straight cuts into steel sheets, structural framing, and other metal components. These handheld saws are good for longer cuts than chop saws. At a low speed, they’ll cut without burrs or excessive heat—no coolant required. They’ll also produce fewer sparks than saws with abrasive wheels. To keep your workspace clean, all can either blow metal chips out of the way or collect them during cutting.
Evolution—Evolution saws have a high-torque motor that powers the blade more efficiently than our other saws. This makes them the best choice for cutting hard, thick metal.
Brake—Saws with a brake stop rotating soon after you release the trigger, so you can quickly reposition your workpiece and make the next cut.

    Cordless Circular Saws for Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Circular Saws. Cordless Circular Saws for Metal.
Make long, straight cuts in metal anywhere on your site. These saws cut with the same power as an electric saw but don’t need to be near an outlet. They’re often used to trim panels and structural framing to size. Because they use a low speed, they make a smooth, burr-free cut and don’t require coolant. Compared to saws that use abrasive wheels to cut metal, these saws generate fewer sparks, too.
Some tools include rechargeable batteries. For other tools, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
Evolution—Evolution saws cut through wood and plastic in addition to metal. They protect against accidental starts since you have to pull the safety switch at the same time as the trigger. When you release the trigger, the brake stops the blade to let you quickly reposition your workpiece and move to your next cut. Connect the chip port to a dust collector to keep your workspace clean and safe.
Fein—Fein saws have a variable-speed dial, which allows you to fine-tune their speed for the material and thickness you’re cutting. The brake stops the blade when you release the trigger, so you can quickly reposition your workpiece and move to your next cut. A chip collector captures metal shards and chips, so your workspace stays clean and safe. These saws are compatible with Bosch batteries.

    Air-Powered Circular Saws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Circular Saws. Air-Powered Circular Saws.
With more consistent power than electric and battery-powered saws, these saws make smooth cuts through tough material without stalling out. They cut wood, metal, and plastic, so you can switch jobs without switching saws. A safety lock button protects you from accidental starts, and a built-in chip collector keeps your space clean and safe.

    Electric Track Saws

Image of System. Front orientation. Track Saws. Electric Track Saws.
Take these saws anywhere and use the included track to make perfectly straight, splinter-free cuts in wood. They are also called plunge saws because they can make plunge cuts. Control the speed of the blade with a dial; use slower speeds for hard wood and faster speeds for soft wood. A second dial lets you have precise control over the depth of the cut. These saws also have a riving knife that reduces kickback by keeping the cut material from pinching the blade. Connect a vacuum hose to the dust port to collect up to 90% of the sawdust created so you can keep your work area clean.

    Bevel Cut

Make straight, splinter-free cuts in wood anywhere in your facility. Also known as plunge saws, they mount to a precision track (sold separately) and move along the track for a straight cut. They’re more portable than a table saw and deliver the same power as an electric track saw without requiring you to be near an outlet. A high-voltage rechargeable battery gives them enough power to maintain speed while cutting through thick and hard materials. These saws have a brushless motor that optimizes battery usage, so they run longer on a single charge. It also enhances longevity—they run cool and have few moving parts that require maintenance.
These saws feature two control dials: one for speed and one for depth. Slow the blade down for cutting hard woods or speed it up for soft woods. You can also raise and lower the blade to cut at a precise depth. To reduce kickbacks, they have a riving knife, a small piece of metal behind the blade. If the material starts to kick back, small teeth grip and dig into it. Connect the dust port to a dust collector to suck up the sawdust generated by your cuts.
Some saws include rechargeable batteries. For saws where they’re not included, see DeWalt batteries and chargers and Milwaukee batteries and chargers.
