Cordless Circular Saws for Metal

Make long, straight cuts in metal anywhere on your site. These saws cut with the same power as an electric saw but don’t need to be near an outlet. They’re often used to trim panels and structural framing to size. Because they use a low speed, they make a smooth, burr-free cut and don’t require coolant. Compared to saws that use abrasive wheels to cut metal, these saws generate fewer sparks, too.
Some tools include rechargeable batteries. For other tools, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
Milwaukee 2982-20 saws have an indicator light to tell you when you’re pushing too hard. This allows you to optimize pressure for a smooth cut while reducing the risk of the saw kicking back. They protect against accidental starts since you have to pull the safety switch at the same time as the trigger. The brake stops the blade when you release the trigger, so you can quickly reposition your workpiece and move to your next cut. For a clean, safe workspace, a chip collector captures metal shards and chips.
