Cordless Circular Saws for Metal

Make long, straight cuts in metal anywhere on your site. These saws cut with the same power as an electric saw but don’t need to be near an outlet. They’re often used to trim panels and structural framing to size. Because they use a low speed, they make a smooth, burr-free cut and don’t require coolant. Compared to saws that use abrasive wheels to cut metal, these saws generate fewer sparks, too.
Some tools include rechargeable batteries. For other tools, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
Makita saws have a higher voltage than other cordless circular saws, which helps them maintain speed when cutting thick or hard materials. The high-voltage battery also gives you more cuts per charge. They protect against accidental starts since you have to pull the safety switch at the same time as the trigger. When you release the trigger, the brake stops the blade to let you quickly reposition your workpiece and move to your next cut. A chip collector captures metal shards and chips, so your workspace stays clean and safe.
