Electric Circular Saws for Metal

Saws with a brake stop rotating soon after you release the trigger, so you can quickly reposition your workpiece and make the next cut.

Cordless Circular Saws for Metal
Make long, straight cuts in metal anywhere on your site. These saws cut with the same power as an electric saw but don’t need to be near an outlet. They’re often used to trim panels and structural framing to size. Because they use a low speed, they make a smooth, burr-free cut and don’t require coolant. Compared to saws that use abrasive wheels to cut metal, these saws generate fewer sparks, too.
Some tools include rechargeable batteries. For other tools, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
Evolution saws cut through wood and plastic in addition to metal. They protect against accidental starts since you have to pull the safety switch at the same time as the trigger. When you release the trigger, the brake stops the blade to let you quickly reposition your workpiece and move to your next cut. Connect the chip port to a dust collector to keep your workspace clean and safe.

Electric Miter Saws
Often used to create door frames and aluminum supports, these saws make precise angled cuts for tight-fitting joints. The head swivels to make miter cuts across the face of your material.
Style B saws cut harder metals than Style A saws—and they do so without coolant or excessive heat, which can warp your workpiece. By running at slower speeds than all of our other miter saws, they handle steel, stainless steel, and other hard metals, as well as soft metals, such as aluminum. Compared to saws with abrasive wheels, they cut more quickly and create fewer sparks.
