    Cordless Circular Saws for Wood

Image of Product. Front orientation. Circular Saws. Cordless Circular Saws for Wood, Style A.

    Style A

With all the power of an electric saw but no cords, these saws rip, cross-cut, and make angled cuts in wood sheets and boards anywhere you need. They’re best for long cuts and for wood that’s too wide for a miter or chop saw. Shortly after you release the trigger, a brake stops the blade so you can quickly reposition your workpiece for the next cut. Their brushless motor optimizes battery usage, so these saws run longer on a single charge. It also enhances longevity—they run cool and have few moving parts that require maintenance.
Some saws include rechargeable batteries. For other saws, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
Dust Blower—Saws with a dust blower clear away sawdust to keep your cut line visible.
Dust Extraction Port—Saws with a dust extraction port can be hooked up to your dust collector to keep your work area and air clean.

    Electric Circular Saws for Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Circular Saws. Electric Circular Saws for Metal.
Make long, straight cuts into steel sheets, structural framing, and other metal components. These handheld saws are good for longer cuts than chop saws. At a low speed, they’ll cut without burrs or excessive heat—no coolant required. They’ll also produce fewer sparks than saws with abrasive wheels. To keep your workspace clean, all can either blow metal chips out of the way or collect them during cutting.

    Cordless Circular Saws for Metal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Circular Saws. Cordless Circular Saws for Metal.
Make long, straight cuts in metal anywhere on your site. These saws cut with the same power as an electric saw but don’t need to be near an outlet. They’re often used to trim panels and structural framing to size. Because they use a low speed, they make a smooth, burr-free cut and don’t require coolant. Compared to saws that use abrasive wheels to cut metal, these saws generate fewer sparks, too.
Some tools include rechargeable batteries. For other tools, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
Model Number 2982-20—Milwaukee 2982-20 saws have an indicator light to tell you when you’re pushing too hard. This allows you to optimize pressure for a smooth cut while reducing the risk of the saw kicking back. They protect against accidental starts since you have to pull the safety switch at the same time as the trigger. The brake stops the blade when you release the trigger, so you can quickly reposition your workpiece and move to your next cut. For a clean, safe workspace, a chip collector captures metal shards and chips.

    Cordless Track Saws

    Bevel Cut

Make straight, splinter-free cuts in wood anywhere in your facility. Also known as plunge saws, they mount to a precision track (sold separately) and move along the track for a straight cut. They’re more portable than a table saw and deliver the same power as an electric track saw without requiring you to be near an outlet. A high-voltage rechargeable battery gives them enough power to maintain speed while cutting through thick and hard materials. These saws have a brushless motor that optimizes battery usage, so they run longer on a single charge. It also enhances longevity—they run cool and have few moving parts that require maintenance.
These saws feature two control dials: one for speed and one for depth. Slow the blade down for cutting hard woods or speed it up for soft woods. You can also raise and lower the blade to cut at a precise depth. To reduce kickbacks, they have a riving knife, a small piece of metal behind the blade. If the material starts to kick back, small teeth grip and dig into it. Connect the dust port to a dust collector to suck up the sawdust generated by your cuts.
Some saws include rechargeable batteries. For saws where they’re not included, see DeWalt batteries and chargers and Milwaukee batteries and chargers.
