High-Density Air/Hydraulic-Operated Collet Fixtures
Use multiple fixtures to create a workholding system capable of clamping and unclamping multiple parts with the push of a button. When powered hydraulically, these fixtures exert five times the force of standard air-operated collet fixtures, making them good for heavy machining requiring an extra-tight hold. Used with air, they provide the same holding power as standard fixtures. Maximum clamping force depends on the pressure of your system. To calculate the clamping force on your collet, multiply inlet pressure by 7.5. Use 5C collets (sold separately) to grip and release parts on milling machines and drill presses. During clamping, the collet remains stationary to ensure the workpiece does too. A through-hole on the bottom of the fixture accommodates long workpieces.
Connector bushings join multiple fixtures. Two connectors are needed for each fixture after the first.

Indexing Collet Fixtures
Used with a 5C collet (sold separately), these fixtures rotate round, hex, or square workpieces up to 1 1/8" diameter in precise increments. Also known as spindexers or punch formers, they are commonly used to drill holes into cylindrical parts, grind punches into precision shapes, and sharpen drill bits and end mills. To ensure accurate rotation, spindles are precision ground. Mount fixtures to a machine table for horizontal orientation or an angle plate for vertical. A through-hole accommodates long workpieces.
Fixtures with 1° index increments have an indexing plate with 36 holes for rotating in 10° steps and 10 additional holes for 1° refinements. Fixtures with 15° index increments have 24 locking positions.
5C Collet Block Chucks
Install a 5C collet into one of these chucks to hold a workpiece for machining parallel or square edges and drilling crossholes. The included tightening ring closes and opens the collet.
Optional lever collet closer works with the tightening ring for faster closing and opening.
