Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers

Once aftercoolers and separators have removed the bulk of the water, use these dryers to remove any remaining moisture in your air line. To reuse saturated desiccant, heat it at its reactivation temperature until it returns to its dry desiccant color. Install after an oil filter to protect the desiccant.
Dryers with a clear bowl and dryers with a sight glass allow you to see inside to monitor contents.
Dryers with a metal bowl are more durable and stand up to vapor better than dryers with a plastic bowl.

High-Pressure Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers

Get dry compressed air in high-pressure systems—these dryers have a maximum pressure rating of 300 psi. Once aftercoolers and separators have removed the bulk of the water, they remove any remaining moisture in your air line. Install after an oil filter to protect the desiccant. They have a sight glass so you can see inside the bowl to monitor contents.
Desiccant (sold separately) is required to remove moisture from air. To reuse saturated desiccant, heat it at its reactivation temperature until it returns to its dry color.

Norgren Modular Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers

For use with Norgren modular compressed air systems, once aftercoolers and separators have removed the bulk of the water, use one of these desiccant-filled dryers to remove any remaining moisture in your air line. Install after an oil filter to protect the desiccant. They have a clear bowl so you can see inside to monitor contents. To reuse saturated desiccant, heat it at its reactivation temperature until it returns to its dry color.
Use a joiner clamp (sold separately) to connect your dryer to another Norgren modular component.
End block sets (sold separately) allow you to swap out filter/regulator/lubricator components without unthreading your air line connections. The blocks remain connected to your pipe while you replace components between them.

Easy-View Desiccant Compressed Air Dryer/Filters for Oil and Particle Removal

With a clear polycarbonate bowl that’s visible from all angles and silica gel desiccant that changes from blue to pink, it’s easy to see when it’s time to change the cartridge on these dryer/filters and dryer/filter/regulators. In addition to water, they remove compressor oil and particles, preventing damage to air-powered tools and equipment. Unlike some desiccant dryers, they don't require a filter to protect the desiccant. Both the dryer and filter are in the same cartridge, saving space and reducing downtime when they need to be changed. Install them after aftercoolers and separators, which remove the bulk of the moisture.
Dryer/filters and dryer/filter/regulators with a shut-off valve can stop the flow of air when the units are not in use to extend the life of the desiccant.
Dryer/filter/regulators have a regulator to monitor and adjust the flow of air.

Desiccant Compressed Air Dryer/Filters for Oil and Particle Removal

These dryer/filters have a clay desiccant that removes moisture, oil, and particles, so there’s no need to install a separate filter and dryer. Once aftercoolers and separators have removed the bulk of the water, they remove any remaining moisture in your air line. Dryer/filters have a clear bowl or sight glass that allow you to see inside to monitor the contents. When the desiccant becomes saturated, it changes color to indicate that it should be replaced.
Dryer/filters with an aluminum bowl stand up to synthetic compressor lubricants and solvents better than dyers with an acrylic plastic bowl can.
Dryer/filters with a polyurethane bowl have excellent resistance to synthetic compressor lubricants, solvents, acids, and other chemicals.

High-Capacity Refrigerant-Cooled Compressed Air Dryers

Remove bulk water vapor from your compressed air line by refrigerating the air. These dryers have a timer-activated drain valve that opens automatically to discharge condensate. Install them in your air line after the compressor and separator.
Non-cycling dryers run continuously to dry compressed air, so they’re best for applications with a constant need for dry air.
Cycling dryers adjust their cooling level based on your compressed air system’s needs. While they require more maintenance than non-cycling dryers, they’re more energy efficient. They’re best suited for applications with varying air demands.

High-Capacity Refrigerant-Cooled Compressed
Air Dryers with Filters for Particle Removal

These all-in-one dryers with filters eliminate the need for individual dryers and filters. They cool air through refrigeration to condense water vapor for removal. Because they are non-cycling and run continuously, they are best for applications that need constant dry air. A float-operated drain valve opens automatically when the bowl begins to fill. After water removal, a heat exchanger raises the outlet air temperature to prevent condensation on downstream piping. The built-in display lets you monitor and adjust the dew point of the compressed air. Be sure to install in your air line after the compressor and separator.

Compressed Air Separators
Prevent equipment damage caused by moisture. The first step in water removal, these separators remove the water that accumulates as compressed air cools. They have a float-operated drain valve that automatically opens when the bowl begins to fill. Install in your air line after compressors and aftercoolers.
Separators with a sight glass allow you to see inside the bowl to monitor its contents.

Compressed Air Condensate Separators

When water is condensed out of a compressed air system, it contains oil from the compressor that makes disposal difficult. These separators use two-stage filtration to reduce oil content to below 20 parts per million. Check local codes for disposal requirements. The primary filter removes dirt, sludge, and most of the oil. The secondary filter removes the rest of the oil. Filters remove many synthetic lubricants that can be difficult to remove with other separators. They come with a sticker that indicates when they need to be serviced or replaced.
Separators rated to 120 and 360 scfm @ 100 psi have replaceable filter bags. They have a port for sampling water without disconnecting the outlet piping. Connect up to four compressed air components, such as aftercoolers, separators, and drain valves.
Replacement kits come with a primary and secondary filter bag as well as a new service indicator sticker.

Portable Compressed Air Storage Tanks with Filter/Dryer

Get clean, dry air wherever you need it. The separator, filter, and dryer mounted on these tanks clean and dry compressed air as you fill it. Once full, move the tank to your workspace on its pneumatic wheels.
Connect your compressor to the separator on the side of the tank. It removes any liquid water from your compressed air to protect the filter, which removes oil and particles. Filtered air passes through the desiccant dryer and into the tank. The dryer can be used continuously without having to dry or replace the desiccant. It can be removed once the tank is full for more portability.
Replace the filter element every six months. Service kits include a filter element, O-rings, and everything else you need to service the filter.
