Once aftercoolers and separators have removed the bulk of the water, use these dryers to remove any remaining moisture in your air line. To reuse saturated desiccant, heat it in an oven at its reactivation temperature—you'll know it's dry when the color changes. Install these dryers after an oil filter to protect the desiccant.

The desiccant in Styles D and E comes in a sleeve, so they're easier to maintain than dryers with loose beads. Reheat the entire sleeve to reuse the desiccant. To make sure they drain properly, install these dryers on vertical segments of your air line.

    Disposable Compressed Air Condensate Separators

Image of Product. Front orientation. Compressed Air Condensate Separators. Disposable Compressed Air Condensate Separators.
Remove oil from condensate without needing to service these separators when they’re full. They’re ideal for small operations with limited maintenance resources and infrequently used air lines. With push-to-connect fittings, it’s fast and simple to swap in a new unit—no messy filters to handle. They remove synthetic lubricants just as well as our reusable separators, so your condensate will be safe for disposal. Be sure to check local codes for disposal requirements. They include brackets for mounting.

High-Capacity Refrigerant-Cooled Compressed Air Dryers with Filters for Particle Removal

Image of Product. Front orientation. Compressed Air Dryers. High-Capacity Refrigerant-Cooled Compressed Air Dryers with Filters for Particle Removal.
These all-in-one dryers with filters eliminate the need for individual dryers and filters. They cool air through refrigeration to condense water vapor for removal. Because they are noncycling and run continuously, they are best for applications that need constant dry air. A float-operated drain valve opens automatically when the bowl begins to fill. After water removal, a heat exchanger raises the outlet air temperature to prevent condensation on downstream piping. The built-in display lets you monitor and adjust the dew point of the compressed air. Be sure to install in your air line after the compressor and separator.

Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers with Filters for Oil and Particle Removal

Image of Product. Style E. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Style E. Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers with Filters for Oil and Particle Removal.

    Style E

Prevent damage to air-powered tools and equipment—these dryers remove water, compressor oil, and particles from your air supply. The dryer and oil filter share the same cartridge to save space and reduce downtime when changing them. No need to mess with desiccant beads. Install them after separators and aftercoolers, which remove the bulk of the moisture.
When selecting a dryer, keep in mind that the larger the desiccant capacity, the longer they last between cartridge changes.
Clear Bowl—Dryers with a clear bowl are visible from all angles. They have a silica gel desiccant that changes from blue to pink, making it easy to know when to replace the cartridge. Disassembly is required to access the desiccant.
Style E—Style E filter fine particles in the same cartridge as the dryer and oil filter. Install them vertically in your compressed air line so any water vapor collecting drains properly.

Chemical-Resistant Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers with Filters for Oil and Particle Removal

With a polyurethane bowl and housing, these dryers resist synthetic compressor lubricants, solvents, acids, and other chemicals in your compressed air line. They have a clear bowl so you can monitor contents and the desiccant, which changes color when it needs to be replaced. These dryers use clay desiccant to remove moisture, oil, and particles—no need for a separate filter and dryer. Place them down the line from aftercoolers and separators, which remove most of the water first.

NPT female dryers make replacing desiccant easy—simply remove the bowl. When you replace the desiccant, service or replace the filter element to extend its life.

In addition to removing large amounts of water, these separators also remove particles and oil droplets. Place them after your compressor and aftercooler, or at the point of use in applications that don't require an aftercooler. They have an automatic drain to discharge the moisture.
Aluminum Bowl—Separators with an aluminum bowl are stronger than those with a polycarbonate bowl—they won’t crack or shatter if dropped.
