Norgren Modular Compressed Air Filters for Particle Removal
Extend the service life of air-powered tools and equipment by removing particles and water droplets from compressed air. These filters connect to other Norgren units of the same series—even if the pipe sizes are slightly different—so you can customize your air preparation system. Their clamps (sold separately) create compact, airtight connections that are easy to swap out. To extend the life of your filter, choose the coarsest (highest micron) element that meets your air quality needs.
Series no. 82 and 84 only require minimal clearance to remove the bowl for maintenance—the filter element moves with the bowl rather than staying attached to the body—making it easy to replace the filter element or empty the bowl of condensate.
Filters with an automatic drain periodically release condensate into the air, eliminating the need for manual emptying.
Filters with a service indicator make it easy to know when it’s time for a filter element replacement. When the indicator at the top of the unit turns red, the filter element is ready to be replaced.
Add mounting brackets to secure the filter to a wall or your equipment.
Use joiner clamps to connect the filter to another Norgren modular unit with the same series number. These clamps come with mounting brackets.
With end block sets, you can swap out filter/regulator/lubricator components without unthreading your air line connections. These blocks stay connected to your pipes while you replace the components installed between them.

Replace the filter element in your Norgren modular compressed air filter to trap solid particles and water droplets. To extend the life of your filter, choose the coarsest (highest micron) element that meets your air quality needs. Check the manufacturer series on your filter to ensure compatibility.
Norgren Compressed Air Filter Bowls
Replace a damaged bowl on your Norgren modular compressed air filter, or swap in a different material or drain type. These bowls come with an O-ring to ensure a tight seal. They have either a clear bowl or a sight glass so you can monitor the liquid level inside. Check the manufacturer series on your filter to ensure compatibility.
Bowls with an automatic drain are best for air lines that have high water content, run continuously, or are hard to reach. Bowls with a manual drain are easy to empty, so they’re often used in systems with a steady, predictable buildup of condensate.
