Couplings consist of a plug and a socket (sold separately) that join with a latch, so you can frequently connect and disconnect your line. To connect, insert the plug into the socket; to disconnect, press the latch on the socket and remove the plug. They’re made of FDA-approved materials, including moisture-resistant plastic that won’t absorb liquid and lose strength, even in high-humidity food and beverage applications.
Plugs and sockets with shut-off have a valve to stop the flow when the coupling is separated, so fluid won’t spill from your line.

Use these nuts with high-temperature compression fittings for food and beverage to create a seal on plastic tubing. They have a built-in sleeve (ferrule), so the sleeve is positioned correctly for installation. Thread the nut onto the fitting, then insert the tubing and tighten the nut. Nuts are PVDF (also known as Kynar), which has excellent strength and can handle high temperatures up to 270° F.

Made of PVDF (also known as Kynar), these fittings have excellent strength and can handle temperatures as high as 240° F or 270° F. All fittings meet NSF/ANSI 61 and are safe to use for drinking water systems. They’re also known as flareless fittings.
Assemble fittings with a plastic sleeve without removing their nut. This built-in sleeve—commonly called a ferrule—compresses the tubing as you tighten the nut, creating a strong seal.
Fittings with a silicone O-ring create a strong seal for male BSPP threaded connections and resist high temperatures.

Tube supports are recommended if you want to use fittings with soft plastic and rubber tubing to prevent the tube from collapsing.
Tube Supports for Compression Tube Fittings for Food and Beverage
- Temperature Range: -40° to 200° F
- Tubing: Use with soft (Durometer 40A-65A) gum rubber, polyurethane rubber, PVC plastic, rubber blend, or silicone rubber
- Specifications Met: NSF/ANSI 51
Slip these tube supports into soft plastic and rubber tubing to prevent the tube from collapsing. They are nylon for excellent impact and abrasion resistance.
