They have high interference reduction at frequency, also known as attenuation, so they block most interference. The beryllium copper gasket seals gaps between the fan guard and your enclosure for additional protection. Do not use in direct contact with acetylene.

Enclosure hoods block dirt and falling liquids from entering enclosures through the fan cutout. Choose the hood that matches the NEMA rating of your enclosure.

NEMA 4 Enclosure Rating—NEMA 4 hoods protect from jets of liquid, such as washdowns.

NEMA 4X Enclosure Rating—NEMA 4X hoods protect from jets of liquid and corrosion. Their silicone gasket is FDA compliant for direct contact with food, so they’re commonly used in food and beverage plants.

Hazardous Location Equipment-Cooling Fan Kits

Cool electronics and other sensitive equipment in potentially unsafe areas. These fans are non-sparking, so they’re safe for use around gas and explosive dust. They also withstand washdowns, occasional submersion in water, and wet weather. They’re not for use in mines. Ball bearings reduce the heat that’s generated to prolong fan lifespan.

Create a more concentrated stream of air than enclosure-cooling fans to cool equipment faster. To save space inside enclosures, these blowers can mount outside. They draw cooler outside air into your enclosure or exhaust hot air through a louvered outlet vent. Incoming air is filtered to keep out dust and contaminants.
