    Under Mount

    Also known as pallet brakes, these reducers mount on a gravity conveyor and create friction on the rollers to control the conveyor's speed. Speed reducers have an internal brake that gradually engages as the speed of the rollers increases. For best results, the spacing of the reducers should be equal to the length of the material you're conveying.
    Under Mount—Under-mount reducers prevent damage to the load because they don’t come into direct contact with it. Instead, they are mounted underneath the conveyor where they contact the conveyor rollers.
