    Dissipate heat and prevent corrosion with these coolants that stand up to long machining cycles when milling and turning. They are chlorine free for use where chlorine waste disposal is a concern.
    Water Based—Use water-based coolants at full strength and apply by hand. They're sulfur free, and they won’t leave an oily residue. Do not use with magnesium.
    Oil Based—Dilute oil-based coolants with water for use in flood coolant systems.
    Machining and Fabricating Lubricant—Lubricants are sulfur free.
    Mineral Oil Base—Mineral-oil-based coolants create a milky emulsion with excellent lubricity for use with difficult-to-machine material, such as stainless steel and hard metal.
    Semi-Synthetic Oil Base—Semi-synthetic-oil-based coolants are a mix of mineral and synthetic oil for economical, long-lasting performance. They are sulfur free and are formulated for use with soft metal, such as aluminum and copper.
    Synthetic Oil Base—Synthetic-oil-based coolants dissipate heat rapidly in high-speed applications and are long lasting. They create a clear emulsion that won’t foam, so you can see your workpiece clearly. They resist misting for a cleaner workspace.

    Pail

    Misting coolant dispensers (sold separately) use considerably less coolant than flood systems while still cooling intermittent machine cycles. Made of synthetic base oil, these coolants have excellent cooling properties to prolong tool life, are long lasting, and prevent corrosion. They inhibit bacteria growth to prevent foul odors. All are chlorine free, for use where chlorine waste disposal is a concern, and sulfur free. Dilute with water.
    Kool Mist Formula 78—Kool Mist Formula 78 is for use with soft metal, such as aluminum and brass, or for short jobs with hard metal.
    Kool Mist Formula 77—Kool Mist Formula 77 has added lubricity for tougher jobs.
    Tri-Cool—Trico Tri-Cool withstands high pressure for use with hard metal, such as stainless steel and titanium, but it can be used with soft metal.

    Milling, Drilling, and Turning Coolants for Micro-Drop Dispensers

    Micro-drop coolant dispensers (sold separately) reduce heat with small, controlled droplets of coolant and air that dissipate heat and resist misting. Because only a small amount of coolant is used, they’re easy to clean up. Use for small jobs. They prevent corrosion and inhibit bacteria growth to prevent foul odors. They are chlorine free for use where chlorine waste disposal is a concern. Use at full strength.
    Synthetic Base Oil—Synthetic-oil-based coolants are made with sulfur to handle demanding cuts with hard material.
    Vegetable Base Oil—Vegetable-oil-based coolants are slipperier than synthetic-oil-based coolants, but they break down more quickly. They are sulfur free.

    Apply these coolants to your cutting tools before and during milling and machining to reduce heat with very little cleanup. They are chlorine free, for use where chlorine waste disposal is a concern, and sulfur free. Use at full strength.
    Water Based—Remove water-based coolants from tools and work surfaces with a mild detergent. They should not be used with magnesium.
