Cotton Fabric with Polymer Crystals—Soak bandanas with polymer cooling crystals in cold water for 10-15 minutes, then the crystals will relieve heat for hours through evaporation. They absorb the water and as it slowly evaporates it cools your skin and lowers your body temperature.

Spark-Resistant Bandanas

Absorb sweat and stay cool by wearing these bandanas around your head or neck. They meet NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506 standards, so they’re safe to wear when sparks are flying. To keep you cool, they contain water-absorbing crystals. Run these bandanas under cold water for a few minutes, then the crystals will relieve heat through evaporation for up to 4 hours. They're made of a soft, breathable cotton and modacrylic blend that resists flames and protects against radiant heat.

Flame- and Arc-Flash-Protection Neck Gaiters

Gaiters with Odor-Resistant Finish—An odor-resistant treatment prevents bacteria growth, eliminating odors caused by sweat.

PPE Category 1—Check the PPE category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace, and select all required clothing and personal protective equipment to meet that rating. These neck gaiters meet Category 1, the lowest level of arc-rated PPE.

Cooling Towels

Drape or wrap towels around your body to cool you down. Run under cold water for 2-5 minutes, and these evaporative fabric towels keep you cool for hours. As you move, airflow will create a cool, damp sensation that helps protect you from heat stress.

PVA Fabric—Provide the longest lasting cool relief, up to four hours. Soft and flexible when wet, these towels stiffen like sponges when dry.

Microfiber—Provide cool relief for up to two hours. These towels also protect your skin from the sun, with a UPF of 50. Unlike PVA towels, these stay soft when dry. They can also be used for cleaning and wiping.
