Cord Grip

Locknut and O-Ring Kit

Stronger than aluminum cord grips, these grips are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. As you tighten the grip, a nylon inner ring and lubricated rubber bushing secure your cable, prevent overtightening, and create a seal around the cord to block out liquid.

Locknut and O-ring kits (sold separately) create liquid-tight seals between cord grips and enclosure knockouts. When used together with the cord grips, they meet NEMA 4X, NEMA 13, and IP66 ratings, so they can be used indoors and outdoors to protect against corrosion, dust, spraying water, oil, and coolant. Each kit includes two locknuts and two O-rings—enough to seal two cord grips.

Steel and Iron Wet-Location Cord Grips

Stronger than aluminum cord grips, these grips are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. They have a zinc-plated steel locknut and metal-reinforced rubber O-ring that prevents liquid from entering the connection. All are rated NEMA 4X, NEMA 13, and IP66 to provide indoor and outdoor protection against dust, corrosion, water projected from a hose, and oil/coolant spray.

As you tighten the grip, a nylon inner ring and lubricated rubber bushing secure your cable, prevent overtightening, and create a seal around the cord to block out liquid.

Fittings for Liquid-Tight Flexible Metal Conduit

When used to connect liquid-tight flexible metal conduit to a knockout in an outlet box or enclosure, these fittings seal out liquids. Attach the twist-in end to conduit with a few quick turns.

Adapters with grounding lug ground conduit outside an outlet box or enclosure. Run a ground wire through the lug. Adapters with a wire-mesh grip provide strain relief and added protection against conduit pullout.

Access Ports for Metal Conduit

Also known as conduit bodies, these ports provide access to wire and cable inside conduit for pulling, splicing, and maintenance. They are also used to change the direction of a run. Connect to thick-wall (rigid) metal conduit. Aluminum and zinc-plated iron ports can connect to medium-wall (IMC) conduit.

All are corrosion resistant. 316 stainless steel ports offer the best corrosion resistance.
