Extension Cords for Welding

NEMA 6-50 Plug

NEMA 6-50 Socket

Run power to welders in machine shops, garages, and other areas where these cords will be exposed to harsh conditions. These cords have either EPDM or PVC insulation that protects the cord's wires from weld slag and being dragged, kicked, and stepped on. Their insulation also won't crack or become brittle when exposed to oil, water, and weather. They also stay flexible across a wide range of temperatures. A power-indicating light on the socket illuminates when the cord has power.

NEMA 6-50 cords can be used with higher voltage equipment than NEMA 5-15 cords. Use them with portable MIG welders rated up to 400 amps as well as TIG welders, stick welders, and plasma cutters rated up to 250V AC. They have a light that illuminates when they’re grounded safely. A handle makes them easy to plug in and unplug.
