Pop the 1/4" hex shank into a drill chuck, power screwdriver, or impact driver to drill and counterbore a hole in a single step. These counterbores move along the included drill bit and lock into place with set screws to match the length of the screw you're installing.

Drill Stops—Attach with a set screw to stop the counterbore at the exact depth you need. These stops have a ring on the end that rotates separately from the body. When the ring touches your workpiece, it stops spinning to prevent scratches and dents. An opening in the side clears chips from the hole as you cut.

Also known as subland drill bits, they last longer than standard counterbore drill bits because the diameter stays the same after sharpening. They drill and counterbore at the same time.
