A scaling function lets you adjust the unit of measure to suit your application. Use the toggle button to switch between the count and the rate.     Switch-Contact-Actuated Counters

    Button

    No need for a separate power source—these counters are powered by internal batteries that last more than seven years. Often used in areas where power isn’t easy to access, they work well inside machinery or remote monitoring systems. Wire them to a relay, sensor, switch, or other trigger device on the machine performing repeated tasks. The counter receives a signal from the trigger device to track how many times the task has occurred and shows that number on the display.
    All can be connected to a separate input, button, or switch to reset the counter to zero directly or at a distance.
    Clip On—Clip on counters can be mounted with a gasket (sold separately) to meet NEMA 4/4X, NEMA 12, and IP66 ratings for protection against dust, water, and splashing oil and coolant.
    Indicator Icons—Counters with indicator icons can be programmed to flash a symbol of your choosing after a set number of tasks have been completed. Similar to the lights on your car’s dashboard, there are icons for your oil, oil filter, service, and more.
    Manual Reset Button—Those with a manual reset button can be set to zero with a simple push.

    Wire these counters up to an electrical pulse-emitting switch, sensor, or encoder for use on machine tools, packaging machinery, or other equipment. They display the set point and count incoming pulses. When the counter reaches the set point, an output relay sends a signal to another device. The signal can start/stop a process or trigger an alarm.
    Backlit Display—Counters with a backlit display have good visibility in low-light conditions. They’re UL and C-UL recognized components and are CE marked, so they meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.

Often used where power sources aren’t easily accessible, they work well in remote monitoring systems, industrial equipment, and machinery. Wire the hour meter to a relay or switch on your machine so it can receive signals when the machine is running. The total number of hours is shown on the display. Press a button on the meter to reset the time to zero or connect it to a switch or button to reset it from a distance.
    Clip On—Clip-on hour meters can be programmed to flash an icon of your choosing after your machine has run for a set number of hours. Similar to the lights on your car’s dashboard, the icons signal maintenance for your oil, oil filter, service, and more.
