Slide these booms onto forklift forks to handle long, cumbersome loads. They secure to the forklift carriage with the included safety chains. These booms are labeled with capacity for each hook position. First hook position is measured from the fork pocket end.
Note: Capacities are approximate and depend on the type and load capabilities of the forklift used. Check with the manufacturer of your forklift for load capabilities before using.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Column-Mount Rotating Cranes

Designed to save valuable floor space, these cranes mount to structural columns. They’re also known as jib cranes. Make sure the column you mount these to can handle the thrust/pull force, which is how much these cranes will push and pull on your column as they lift loads. Use ASTM A325 Structural Bolts to mount these cranes.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
    Cranes with Mast
Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Cranes. Column-Mount Rotating Cranes , Cranes with Mast, Open Crane Beam.

    Open Crane Beam

Also Available: Other spans of cranes with an open-track beam up to 20 ft. and capacities up to 10,000 lbs. Select 3729T999 and specify span and capacity.
Cranes with a mast let you lift loads from higher than cranes with a tie rod because the beam can be mounted closer to your ceiling. These cranes generally push and pull less on your column than cranes with a tie rod.
Open Crane Beam—Those with an open track accommodate most trolleys. Stops on the beam limit trolley travel.

Cranes with a tie rod are suspended overhead, allowing trolleys to travel over a longer span without a mast obstructing their movement. However, they require more space above the beam than cranes with a mast.

Also known as end trucks, use these trolleys with your own beams to create a crane. For example, use two trolleys to allow a beam to move along two structural beams. Bumpers on the trolley body protect the wheels.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
Bottom Mount—Bottom-mount trolleys are used on the bottom of fixed beams.

Adjustable Gantry Cranes for Rough Surfaces

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Cranes. Adjustable Gantry Cranes for Rough Surfaces .
Roll these cranes over grass, gravel, and even mud to lift heavy loads. Equipped with air-filled wheels, they absorb shock better than any of our other gantry cranes, moving smoothly across rough and uneven surfaces. The wheels are butyl rubber for traction even when it’s slick. Made of aluminum, these cranes are strong but lightweight. They resist corroding in the rain and other wet conditions. Lock the wheels to secure these cranes in place. They are not meant to be moved while under load.
Suitable for a wide range of spaces, these cranes also have a beam you can adjust depending on how much vertical clearance you need. Raise the beam to lift large loads or lower it if overhead space is tight. Attach a manual or motorized trolley to the beam to move a load along the length of the span.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Battery-Powered Forklift Booms

Image of Product. Front orientation. Forklift Booms. Battery-Powered Forklift Booms .
No more manually tugging and shoving your boom into position—just push a button and the battery-powered hydraulic pump precisely extends and retracts these booms for you. For loads up to 2,000 lbs., you can even move these booms with your load suspended from them. For heavier loads, you’ll need to position them first and then attach your load, but it’s still faster and more precise than manual booms. Operate these booms from a safe distance using the pendant switch.
Note: Capacities are approximate and depend on the type and load capabilities of the forklift used. A forklift with an 8,000 lb. rating is required. Check with the manufacturer of your forklift for load capabilities before using.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Steel Lifting Beams

Keep long and unbalanced loads stable where overhead space is limited. Unlike spreader beams, which require a chain sling to operate, these beams use a single attachment point to hook onto your crane, hoist, or other lifting device. However, using one attachment point instead of two can cause uneven weight distribution and place more stress on the beam. Capacity is marked on the beam.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Additional Lower Bracket

Beams with brackets give you more control over where your attachment points are than beams with shackles. Adjust them in 2" increments. For even more stability, add upper and lower brackets (sold separately) to create additional lifting points. You can also use them to replace worn or damaged brackets. Upper brackets are for vertical lifting only. Do not use two upper brackets with a 2-leg chain sling.

Beams with brackets and hand chain let you shift the lifting eye to stabilize loads without taking the beam apart to reposition the upper bail. Lower the load to relieve tension, then pull the hand chain to shift the lifting eye up to 13 1/2" inches to the left or right.

    Basket Sling Lifting Beams

Image of Specification. Front orientation. Contains Annotated, Inset. 16" to 72" Spread. Basket Sling Lifting Beams.
Hook slings to these beams to cradle your load for steady lifting. They work together to distribute the weight across multiple lifting points. They’re especially useful for lifting bundles of pipe, rods, and other materials that might shift as you lift. You can adjust where the hooks are on the beam based on your load’s center of gravity, so even lopsided objects stay balanced.
Choose a web sling that is long enough to fit around your object and strong enough to support the load.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

    Spreader Beams

With two lifting points on top instead of one, these beams keep wide and heavy loads more stable than lifting beams. This distributes weight to reduce stress on the beam. However, these beams require more headroom than lifting beams because they attach to a chain sling.
Expand or collapse the beam to fit your load. Hooks at the bottom of the beam swivel for easy positioning before lifting.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
